If the Cruiser weight division had being around since at least the early 1900 s , which Light heavy s would possibly have been great s in that division ?
Fighter s like Moore , Foster ,Conn etc more than likely , what about other LH s thru history ?

Maybe Conteh, his first 20 fights or so were at heavyweight.

Moorer would have been better at cruiser than he was at heavyweight and his power would have had more effect lie it did at 175, but Ezzard Charles would have destroyed him at cruiser and might have been the greatest cruiser of all-time.

No, Conteh was knocked out at light heavy and was dreadful at heavy, one night he was fighting on a card in Britain at heavy and after a dissappointing performance he spoke to Ali in his dressing room and Muhammed said he was too small for heavy and should move down to 175, he would have been better at cruiser than heavy though, but any cruiser that could punch harder than Saad would stop conteh, he didn`t have a chin like Holy who would have destroyed him.

Spinks v Moorer would have been a good fight at cruiser.

Conteh, wasn't "dreadful" at heavy, he stopped 15 of his 18 opponents at heavyweight, albeit not the greatest of opposition. The old myth that Ali persuaded him to move down I think it can be assumed Mark that they'd already came to that conclusion.
Conteh was stopped by Saad way past his prime and still in the first fight gave him all the trouble he could handle.
He was indulging in women and cocaine by then.
So the old logic that if Saad knocked him out then anyone that punches harder would...struth.

Conteh (whatever mark says), Moore, Spinks, Charles are all good calls. I'd say Harold Johnson and Patterson, maybe Doug Jones to a lesser degree. John Henry Lewis?

Patterson I'd say for sure , I reckon the Cruisers would be ideal for him .

Ezzard definitely has the better résumé above 175

He's also a stylistic nightmare for Spinks
