AHA...What did I say...I knew his mind was elsewhere! You could just tell at the pressers and all the interviews that there was too much smiling, no serious face. He underestimated Ruiz. It's great that's he's owned up to it. People doubting what I was saying might want to go back on what they said, because I was right all along. I was sweating on the day and even mentioned it on the forums that AJ wasn't right mentally in the build-up. First saw it at the weigh-in. AJ's got this fight in the bag. No more Mr Nice Guy! Time to get those belts back..
Lol no s*** Sherlock.I always thought it deeply disrespectful of Joshua to talk of other opponents before his next fight.Lol Ruiz played a blinder though didn’t he?he had the poor little, fat me routine down to a tee.
The fact that night he was detached everyone has understood it ..so demonstrating he cant manage well the pressure...that his chin is not strong is not more a mystery...however he has got power, good stamina and his technique is brilliant.. ok! is difficult to train the chin cause the brain of each person responds different when hit (even if, it must be said, its possible to empower the neck and the jaw and that is no small thing) but for the rematch he has only to improve the movements and the defence and work better on motivation... and dont think anything else except Ruiz. Why thinking about Wilder, or Fury, or Ortiz, etc.?
