Compubox is unreliable. If someone counted the power punches themselves, Id take that into consideration. If Thurman landing more power punches are compubox numbers, doesn't mean much to me.

Also... Id have to see it on a per round basis.

Thurman got hurt bad to the body, busted up, at times looked like he didnt want to be there no more, and got put on his ass.

Regardless of whether the thinks he got a draw or not, he should be embarrassed about his performance against Pac.

    - His pre-fight antics were cringe-worthy.
    - He called Pac a lightweight.
    - Got knocked down by a lightweight.
    - He placed 3 bets on himself to knock Pac out... he lost all 3 bets.

His performance fell way short of his trash talking. And to top it off, he lost the fight.

Thurman was winning the first round but got knocked down. Without that flash knockdown Thurman would have won on my card. It was a very close fight and Thurman did a lot of good work.

    Are you serious?

Did you not watch the fight?

Thurman showed brass balls, man. Like you said, he was hurt multiple times, but he never ran for survival.

    Thurman deserves respect.

So what? For the judges that just means 1 knockdown and several power punches landed, doesn't it?

Lol oh dear, please don’t tell me Thurman said this?
You could also say re the coin toss that the guy who been knocked down and crippled from a body punch is liable to be on the losing side albeit Thurman did have his moments.

That alone for sure but if in a 50/50 Job like Thurman suggesting then those moments would count surely?

Modern trend to give the loser something imo.

Damn right.Thurmans no Broner, went toe to toe with one of the sports greatest of all time. Some folk will mention his age but 40 is only a number and he looked great imo. That body shot was truly exceptional though,to pull that off in round nine when he absolutely needed to as Thurman was looking strong was him not being denied by anyone or anything imo.

I'm agreeing saying that Thurman was busted up.

...for some reason I want to blame this on the rat-tail. I don't know why, I just do.

Did anybody else rewatch the first round of the fight and now without all the hype see Pac winning?
I originally thought Pac stole that round with he KD too, but after watching again, looks like Pac was blocking all those shots that I thought were landing, was digging into Thurman's body over and over, hit him with several straight lefts and right hooks, while Thurman landed about 2 or 3 hard punches only.
Pac was also controlling most of the round. Not all of it, but most.

    Not really.

Fat Dan had the same card. As did Boxing Scene and Boxing Insider.

SB Nation and LA Times had it 116-111 Pac.
