Cuevas. Maidana is crude and wildly overrated. He got his ass kicked by glass chinned Amir Khan, and barely scraped by a fat, ancient Eric. Morales. Cuevas is the much bigger puncher, as well.

People forget how devastating Cuevas was at his peak.

I honestly thought he had significant improvement.
The thing was that he was fighting Mayweather. Then he retired straight after. Not really alot to go on. I think if he'd rematched Khan he would've KOd him.

A prime Maidana was bounced off the canvas multiple times by Ortiz and nearly stopped by Khan.

That wasn’t Maidana’s best and he wasn’t stopped. If you think Ortiz couldn’t crack and Khan couldn’t hook to the body, you’re delusional.

Interesting one this, Maidana is criminally underrated with a great chin but I'd probably go Cuevas.
