I think Sky will have it on PPV as well, and to be fair I wouldn't complain about this one. I honestly think Taylor vs Prograis is one of the best fights there is in boxing currently. Not just saying that cos I'm a big fan of Taylor, there really aren't many fights I'd rather see. It's such a great match up on paper and I think the fight itself will deliver and be a cracker.
I think it has to be ppv. These are the best in the division. A British fighter in a unification fight. It will sell well in Scotland that's for sure. Hopefully a chief support being a 50-50 fight.
Not at all. He’s good but nowhere near as technically good as made out. I ask everyone on Twitter this. A complete fighter with power as he’s described, where are the KO’s and knock downs more impressive than Taylor AND other than journeyman Herrera in a round (body shot) show me one impressive right hook? His inside game is NOT as compact or dynamic as Taylor. He has a beautiful slip counter left to the liver and very active jab but otherwise, nah. I’ve watched about 7-8 Regis fights, I see talent, but I see lots of flaws hidden behind IQ that demonstrates his good points. But what happens when someone takes him out his comfort zone? Great fight, I really can’t wait.
Apparently this is to be om 5th October ,day before my birthday haha so would certainly be going. Interesting to see prograis said on ifl interview(if you could call it that ) was saying taylor would easily smoke Ramirez
I genuinely rate Jack Catterall very highly. More so than most on here. He’s a talented kid, southpaw, awkward counter puncher and I think he has more power than his KO ratio suggests. I think he’s been built up quite well but I just think he needs a couple more fights to build him to world level, much in the same way they built Warrington. I’d love to see him in against Algieri or Indongo... someone who’s mixed it at top level but isn’t up there anymore. Anyway, I hijacked the thread. Apologies.
I love watching Prograis fights but he does tend to get hit a lot, his face is often very marked up. I'm backing Taylor to go on and domnate the division, I just have a feeling.
I really like Prograis. Fantastic fighter and seems like a really cool dude as well. But as much as I like him I will enjoy watching him getting the tartan tornado treatment. He's good but he's no Josh Taylor. War Taylor.
