    Well, yeah.
Who brings the money to the table here: Ruiz or Joshua?
When Manny and Floyd were at the top, their opponents rarely enjoyed the guarantee Ruiz is getting.

Joshua won't bring **** w/o the belts. Duh. Which he lost in devastating and humiliating fashion.

 Joshua was a PPV and box office hit before his first belt.
Ruiz has rarely even headlined an event.

    A completely irrelevant fact.
Joshua is still a massive draw, proven again by the rumored massive deal they made with the Saudis.
Ruiz' popularity has skyrocketed, but he is still not the draw Joshua is.
9mil is a pretty damn good deal. Even the 5mil he got for the first fight was quite generous.

 I disagree with you, so I must be a Joshua fanboy.
    You and your biases.
Fact is that there is 80mil on the table because of Joshua. Ruiz and the belts have very, very little to do with it.

I guess Hearn and Joshua will have to look at how badly they want the rematch. It's pretty clear that Ruiz isn't jumping straight in to anything Hearn suggests, as he is well within his rights to exercise his power as the heavyweight champ.

In the end, I see Hearn increasing their offer.

So if Ruiz gets injured in training, let’s say, the Saudiis still put up all that money for massive draw AJ if he fights Chisora or someone like that?

It doesn't even matter what Ruiz deserves. It's what he signed for. Initially he signed the contracts to fight the main fight for around 6 and the rematch for 9 million.

And to all those who think that contracts like that are unfair. Come on, think again. Just about a year ago (or maybe even less, I'm not sure, just google it) Andy Ruiz was thinking about stopping his boxing career. Because he had no money, no fights, he didn't know how he would pay his trainers, etc. And now he can earn 15 million dollars for two fights...

Yea, and Pac came from nothing. And he had the gall to want more than 40mil flat vs Fluid IVman. What's your ****ing point numbnuts, since he was poor he shouldn't demand more?
