Povetkin KO. No need for a breakdown.

Which round? Fury has never been down, extremely hard to hit when he's on the defensive.

    Idk....
I'm sure Hughie will run for a few rounds at least though. But if you don't have the power to keep Povetkin even somewhat honest how do you survive against him?

Povetkin in 6-7. Dwyer actually did a pretty good breakdown on this fight.

Povetkin hits Hughie so hard, he sends a cataclysmic shockwave through his entire body, triggering multiple eruptions of his cystic back zits. It'll look like Hughie's got cumshot squibs blowing off his back.

What if Hughie has finally developed his "man strength"

    Povetkin KO.

My breakdown is that he breaks him down.

AP may be old, but he's still a solid, solid operator.

Povetkin is getting slower each day, but Hughie has zero offence. Povetkin UD

The Dwyer video on the fight is worth a watch. While Povetkin has CLEARLY slowed down its unfair to rule him out of the mix. Until he really falls off its hard to completely count him out against anyone. How confident would you be in picking Joshua over him in a rematch? Ruiz trauma and all. I had Povetkin up 4-2 at the time of the stoppage. Still favor him to beat Wilder who stylistically he's all wrong for.

Even at 40, Povetkin should be able to pull a demo finish on him (I expect it to take a few rounds).

Fury will run away all night long. Povetkin by UD seems likely. However, Hughie cuts easily so could see a TKO as well.

A matchroom decision robbery could not be excluded as well.

3-4 years ago, Povetkin was throwing çırak 5-6 punch combinations in a round, had good stamina and was explosive. That Povetkin I’d favour over Joshua and Wilder(Ruiz is basically poor men’s prime Povetkin anyways). But now he’s more of a 1-2 punches at a time guy and starts breathing heavily from the 5th round and on. I wouldn’t bet on him against Tyson Fury, Joshua, Wilder or Usyk.

But he should still decisively outwork Hughie. Will check out the Dwyer video later.
