He was dropped less than five times in his career and was never KOed. He landed flush on Duhaupas face, hence the cuts. He just couldn't drop him. Ali kept the corresponding hand up to his opponents best punch, so for Frazier, Liston and Patterson he kept his right hand up. For Shavers and Lyle he kept his left hand up. He took Shavers bombs, he took Foreman's bombs and he took Listons bombs. He'd take Wilder's.
