Don't be fooled by his physique, just look at Fury who was injecting roids up his backside. Ruiz has a very unusually fast hand speed for a fat guy
Yes, I watched AJ vs Ruiz and that was my first thought. I watched them both, one next to the other, and just in this very moment I said, Andy is roiding. (note the irony)
He seems like a guy who might take short cuts in the gym so perhaps but for me no boxer is above suspicion and I wouldn't especially target Andy Ruiz just because he scored an upset win. There are far more obvious candidates to accuse IMO.
Teper was a fatty roider. Price mentioned how they can become more fearless of big shots too, just keep coming. Ruiz's endurance despite his obesity is definitely suspicious. He's not a big heavy carrying flab, like Fury, he's a small heavy carrying obesity, which means his system needs to work much harder to maintain the pace.
He must have been already doping when he was a 300lb teenager, because he always had that hand-speed.
Yes, in the modern era of "fitness" in HW, it’s very unusual to see a “fat” guy in a ring who isn't a brawler and knows how to beat his hands , feels the distance, can attack / counterattack.
I bet promoters send trolls here to promote their fights. That is probably the only reason why there are so many stupid threads saying stupid things about aj or ruiz. Idiots paid to hype/promote a fight.
They're all doping at the top level.. That's how you reach the top level. We sometimes see lower level fighters putting on a good fight and even outboxing the heavy favorite at times. But they all seem to lack overall physicality and power, and eventually get taken out. This is what happens when talented fighters stay natural, they don't become a top fighter. If Nakatani was roided up and explosive when he fought Teo, Teo would have gotten his ass beat and we would have a new top fighter. That's the difference between a non-PED talent and a PED talent.
