Chisora's prime?

Who has “smashed” chisora? Haye and Fury? Who else?

 

He's about 6-7 years past prime but due to the sorry state of the division he can still hang with the most of them.

 

Don't be silly, he's just following the David Haye vegan diet.

 

Vitali was arguably his career best performance and how many rounds did he win? He was KTFO by Dillian Whyte and beaten from pillar to post in both fights.

So to summarise Haye, Fury x2, Vitali and Dillian Whyte x2 or in short every time he has stepped up against world level fighters.

 

Well he's looked a lot cough "better" cough since going with Haye

 

So you haven’t watched the Whyte fights then?

 

Very interesting fighter, one of my favorites. Really hard to predict, how will he perform. He might as well be in his prime right now, I hope he is. I think he is one of the mentally toughest Warriors out there. How many losses he has? 9!! And still keeps coming back and fights against good opposition. And look at all the guys he has fought against, big names all over. Fury 2x, Whyte 2x, Vitali Klitschko, Haye, Takam, Pulev, etc. Is that the best list of opponents of any heawyweight in this era? Probably is. Who is the DONKEY NOW? Not Chisora, thats for sure

 

I'd say right now is the best I've consistently seen him perform. Got himself in good shape as well.

 

It bemuses me that some of you can knock Chisora as being faded, or never all that.

As if you must be head and shoulders above your competition, to be worthy of interest.

What's the point then? If you are always much better then competition? Where is the challenge?

Chisora is up and down mentally, which influences what Chisora turns up on fight night, and because of this I don't read too much into his losses against fringe contenders.

Chisora is and always will be a tough fight for anyone, when he shows up, unless you are 7 inches tallers, and have 11 inches more reach.

In terms of prime, its impossible to say but almost certainly several years ago. However, in terms of conditioning it may seem mad but I think he was in the best shape I have seen him in Whyte 2. He was ripped and he literally threw bombs for 11 rounds, he was dead tired which contributed to the heavy knock out. I felt sorry for him after that because I think he matched up well v Whyte as the first fight proved. However, the game plan for the rematch was one of the worst I have ever seen. Instead of using his jab to get him inside and then go to work (his compact hooks would land more quickly than Whyte's with longer arms) he simply just loaded up with everything from everywhere. Its not possible to fight like that when you are 6'1 and 20 stones.

To his credit Whyte fought a clever fight waited for his moment. I just thought it was complete madness on Del's part and shows how important a good (or not terrible) game plan is.

 

Im not disputing they were close, I said he got battered in both fights which he did - and I don't rate Dillian Whyte anyway.

 

He went life and death with your man twice pretty obvious why you're bigging him up.

 

Yeah but all you do is chat ****, because guaranteed Whyte and Chisora would give ANY MAN tough fight in the HW ddivision, and you can't name one man today that would "walk all over" Chisora or Whyte, otherwise you would man up and make a bet with me.

So stop acting like they are push overs... they are tough contenders coming of great wins.

Results speak louder than opinions, I'm all about the results and the facts.

Rivas is a new up and coming Whyte/Chisora, another one to watch out for, and he will give anyone a hard night, let's make a bet big man.

 

Chisora has never beaten a top 20 fighter (fact) unless you count the first Dillian Whyte fight as a win like most.
