I get your point but no way AJ can be compared to Ali and Ruiz couldn’t be any further from Frazier.

Thriller in Manila wasn’t about fat guy beating a stiff robot.

The more places boxing takes place, the better is for the sport. :chuck:

I appreciate that , maybe my vision was a lil deluded , but you get my point , The Heavyweight Championship of the world shouldnt be an elitist event , it should be a 'For the People' event .

10% is a joke, 30-35% is more reasonable. I'm guessing most of the PPV buys will be coming from the UK where Joshua is a huge star.

Reckon the price point had more to do with it. If Joshua sells his PPVs for a dollar he'll be more popular. What was King charging for Minilla?

That I agree with. Only thing they’re achieving by having a fight there is lining their pockets.

It seems like DAZN isn't mentioned anywhere.

Hearn already proclaimed how having this fight in Saudi might change boxing forever.

It was about an undersized guy with one eye who had recently been KO'd in two by the current champ fighting a guy he previously beat for a third time after being wrestled into submission by a faded former champion who had controversially split a set of matches with the somewhat unheralded contender.

No belts were on the line.

IV bags might be needed for both fighters and fans traveling there due to dehydration, maybe Floyd has some spare for everyone? @Pakkuman
