Nobody ever said there wasn't a contract. Especially not me. Of course they have a contract, but as I said before, Eddie doesn't have the balls to go to court and try to enforce it. He's been outmanoeuvred in the renegotiation so has thrown a hail mary and hoped that if he announces it Ruiz will have to go along with it. Doesn't seem to have worked though LOLZ.

 

Don't think that's right for December mate as I doubt they use daylight savings in Saudi. By December the time difference will probably be 3 hours.

That means if the fight starts at 11pm in Saudi it'd start at 8pm UK time, 3pm East Coast US and 12 noon West Coast US. No way anybody genuinely believes those kind of timings won't affect PPV buys.

The US PPV will be dead in the water and a PPV card starting at 4pm UK time will not fare well at all. That's just how it is.

Ruiz never was a draw. So a 9mil payday is a pretty damn good one, and that's why he agreed to it. But now that there are talks of the overall purse being 80+mil . Yeah, that does seem like chump change.
But Ruiz is in a position to renegotiate, nothing wrong with that tbh. But him and his team better be in actual negotiations, otherwise there is no point to it.
