Hearn saying Ruiz and AJ both signed the contract for the fight. It's on.

No, he would get more than that for Wilder or Fury and something close to it to headline a PBC card against someone else.

And then he'd have to pay tens of millions in damages to Hearn. So he earns $15 million at PBC and pays say $25 millino to Hearn, leaving him $10 million in the hole; at least there's a risk of that.

That's how Rahman was "convinced" to face Lewis for the rematch. He never had to pay damages, but the risk of getting taken to the cleaners in court was too big for him.

The difference is that Rahman wasn’t paid15-20% of the total purse to rematch Lewis. The Muhammad Ali Act is in place to prevent bull**** like the champion only being cut 9 million of a greater than 50 million dollar purse.

The thing is, none of us truely know how much Ruiz or Joshua will be getting paid, we only have journalists reporting varied figures, some reporting 80 million and some reporting 40 million but Hearn, Joshua and Ruiz have not released figures so everything is just a guess
    and bad journalism.

As for the Muhammed Ali act, I dont see how this is unlawful, 9 million was agreed by Ruiz and Haymon. No one put a bullet to his head
    and no one conned him.

I think it's a very goofy location for the rematch. I'm not even saying the U.S. but if not the U.S. then the UK should've been the obvious choice IMO

I guess the place was chosen to let Anthony get his 'stamina' again... anywhere in civilization he could not use his magic juice...

Ruiz couldn't come on stage, he was at the back scoffing his face with jaffa cakes, while the bodybuilder Joshua was lying on the beach somewhere in Dubai laughing that he don't need to train for this one, because he's got his special supplements delivered to him from Dubai.

I feel Ruiz can outpoint AJ, he has faster hands and is harder to counter.
