Just watched Mayweather vs Emmanuel Burton. I don't think he could have beaten Loma at 130

Oscar fought hernandez at 135 not 130. Hernandez was the lineal at 130 he had no business at 135 and had never fought there before. He only did it for a cash grab and went back down. He was a career 130 pound fighter.

As for being more skilled thats highly debatable.

I said earlier in this thread that from 130-140 Floyd is a helluva fight against anybody the history of the sport. If he fought Duran 10 times I guarantee you that Roberto is not going 10-0.
That being said, what you just said about Oscar and Hernandez describes Floyd and Hatton. Do you consider Hatton a good win for Floyd?
*edit - it was a different thread that I said Floyd would be hellacious for anybody from 130-140

Burton gives Loma hell. Salido also beat Loma, so i guess that mean Mayweather beats Loma base off ur theory?

That was not a knockdown lol. With that said i think zab is a harder match up for pbf than Loma because zab had the ability to beat pbf to the punch he could counter pbf and he had much more power than loma so pbf had to respect him. Zab won 3 rounds in that fight they split the first 4 and he won the 12th because pbf took it off. Pbf actually had zab ready to go when zab fouled him. I actually think this win is underrated due to zab being a better natural athlete than pbf.

I think loma is the truth and im a fan i just cant shake the image of the way linares landed that straight right hand on him and dropping him out of my mind. Pbf has a much better straight right than linares which he can counter and lead with it.

To add to this. Let's not forget Mayweather and Judah were close buddies way before they fought. They sparred each other many times and knew each other in the ring. Exactly why Mayweather gave Judah the earlier rounds because he said before and after the fight that Judah was a front runner. Meaning strong in the beginning, weak towards the middle and the end. Mayweather IQ is well above Loma and once he spot Loma weakness, which is the straight right hand, in which that is Mayweather's strength, would be bad for Loma.

Hatton fought at 147 though and won a title at 147 against collazo. Hatton stated the he preferred fighting pbf at 147 because he wouldnt spend as much time worrying about making weight. With that said ive always said pbf beats hattom easier at 140 than he does at 147 due to him being much faster at 140..

As far as hernandez and comparing him to Hatton. Hernandez never won a title at 135 like hattom did at 147. Close but not quite the same.

He did say zab was a frontrunner and fought him accordingly.

Fair enough. I don't remember Hatton having won any title at 147.
I agree that Floyd beats any version of Ricky at any weight

What yall fail to realize is that Burton was no slouch and was taking shots that would have dropped Loma early, That same Mayweather would have also stopped Loma. Loma will not get into a fire fight with a 130 pound Mayweather or he would find himself waking up.

Loma isn't Burton, and Floyd isn't Linares.

The Castillo that Floyd fought, gives Loma an L. That Castillo was quite a bit better than Salido.

Every fighter that Loma has beaten so far would have been knocked out by 130 pound Floyd.
