We've seen Guillermo Jones & Chris Bryd go from 140 lbs. all the way to Heavyweight.

I'm talking about the opposite here. Where sky scrappers turn to postage stamps.. I can relate I once cultavated 245 lbs. of mass. I saw how small children were wary of me as I barreled down the side walk.. As the years passed I began to shrink like Hughie Fury... By my late twenties I went from nearly 250 lbs to 185 lbs........ I have a six pack now but man, I'm not getting the respect I once received.. I'm now called skinny/slender. Are there any notable boxers who have shrunk through the years???

The only example I can think of is Micheal Seals.

Hughie may fight at 175 when it's all said & done. Any examples are greatly appreciated

In shape Kownacki would probably make a lightweight limit. Ruiz Jr. probably would make a super middleweight limit, because, unlike Kownacki, he actually has some muscles under that fat. But I don't think we will ever see Kownacki and Ruiz being not fat, especiallt since they are doing well even having all that blob in their bodies.

Well, Chris Byrd shrunk (he was 175) for Shaun George in 2008.

It didn't go too well for him, though...

Funny enough most heavyweights would be able to make cruiserweight if they all cut until they were fairly lean.

Deontay Wilder went from a ripped 230 to a scrawny 209 in a couple of years.

Mike Perez cut to CW and looked really funny with his stumpy T rex arms on a ripped body.

Chris Byrd starved himself to 175 and had no power or energy.

Zeljko Mavrovic got seriously ill and dropped to about 140 or something shortly after he fought Lennox at HW.

Just a couple off the top of my head.

Haye and Tyson but that is post retirement.

Both of them were obvious juicers.

Haye looks like a light heavyweight these days.

No heavyweight wants to fight at cruiserweight.

Tyson went to 300lbs+ (circa 2008)

He then dropped to 200lbs when he went on a vegan diet and looked seriously ill.

Now he just looks like a fat old man with a grey beard and dumb tattoo on his face

It's really true. It can be vice versa too as well. Sparring can be tricky for cruiserweights. They're basically expected to spar Heavyweights all out lol..

I agree though, literally they work many angles on slow heavyweights. They're leaner meaner & more durable. The craftyness of a elite cunning cruiserweight will be too much for a heavyweight who is less talented (just weighs more)

In one of the recent interviews Tyson said that he "eats almost nothing" now. Just "grass, nuts and almond milk".

It seems like he has a metabolic disorder or some weird genetics because he gets obese extremely fast.
