What heavyweights who have always competed a heavyweight as pros do you think could compete at a lower weight? I have also listed a few below that I think could compete at a lower weight division. Let me know if you agree with these. Andy Ruiz Deontay Wilder Carlos Takam Oscar Rivas Dustin Nichols
I respect your opinion but would disagree Andy Ruiz has a lot of body fat and is not exceptionally tall. He could make it comfortably to 200 pounds as long as he dropped the weight steadily and adjusted his training regime accordingly. Dustin Nichols would be no where near heavyweight if he got rid of his extreme body fat. It would take him a lengthy period to get down to 200 pounds but a lean Dustin Nichols is likely many weights below heavyweight. Oscar Rivas is a small heavyweight and if lost muscle slowly would easily get below 200. Deontay Wilder is not far off 200 already. He is very tall indeed but naturally gangly and just needs to lose some muscle to make 200 pounds. Carlos Takam is again a small heavyweight and once again I am not suggesting he "boils"down to 200 pounds but merely loses some muscle in a sensible way by adjusting his training regime. A lot of smaller heavyweights lose weight when stop fighting which proves it can be done.
Wilder could make Cruiserweight just by cutting water. There are guys much smaller than Wilder who lose 15 lbs or more of water to make weight.
Im betting none of you who are theorising and say its easy have had to drop a significant amount of weight to compete. It makes you so much weaker.
