Would be easier in Cardiff... well for me it would be, it's a couple of miles from home.. lol shame it's been /going to be flung abroad ,but there we go..
Sorry mate but I've been to the Millenium Stadium twice (01 and 05) for the footy in the PO Final (lost both times!) and Wembley 5 times for Rugby (91), U2 (twice in 93) and the footy in (94 lost, 15 finally won!) and Cardiff is far far superior a day out than Wembley concerning bars, eating establishments, walking distance, etc. I would imagine that in the 14 years since I last ventured there that there are now even more hotels, etc. Cardiff >>>>>> Wembley. Opinions huh @Scissors
Within 5 - 10 minutes of the venue, yes. I am talking Wembley, not London itself. Who wants to be messing about with jumping on a tube at 1330 to travel best part of an hour to get to Wembley at 1430 and miss out on the pre-match vibes?
Wembley is in the middle of nowhere really to be honest, the 02 has enough bars and resturants for days but Wembley is a horrid place to get to, walk round and get away from.
For a day out Cardiff is brilliant. I’ve been about 5 times with Liverpool but every time straight home afterwards and it was amazing. Staying over though is impossible. And if you’re going to the boxing you don’t want to be making a 5 hour trip at 11/12 o’clock at night.
Agree with this statement 100%. Went to Joshua v Parker at Cardiff and couldn’t get a hotel, there was about 50-60 of us asleep in the casino then in weatherspoons and maccies in the morning. It’s not like you can pop on a tube or get a taxi to anywhere else as it’s absolutely chaos. The state of the city centre afterwards because of the alcohol consumed on the streets was absolutely horrific as well, it was like being in a grotty nightclub at 6am! Opinions ey
I don't remember so much negativity for the WBSS held in Saudi. Considering the 'Rumble in the Jungle' is celebrated so much people seem to forget Zaire was ruled by a brutal dictator.
No Alcohol, no women, hahahahahahahahaha, all you are left with is a boxing match, ahahahahahaha where is the fun in that?
