I remember watching him batter Sam Sexton and I though we had a real animal on our hands here. Turns out we did and Del has been great entertainment through the years as well as, at times, being a brutal knockout puncher and a very tough opponent for many of the top fighters of his era.

This and his demolition of Danny Williams at Upton Park he was looking like a real contender, then he ran into 22 year old Tyson Fury. Del hit Fury with two massive flush left hooks in the second and almost had him out of there but Fury was pumping him to the body and slowed him down. Almost done him in the 10th too with a massive rally off the ropes.

I’ve watched more Edmund Gerber fights than I care to remember, including his 1-1 v Michael Sprott.

If Gerber was top 20 then so was shot Michael Sprott.

I’m guessing you have never even seen him fight.

When Chisora fought and beat Edmund he was ranked in the top 20.

The original poster said Chisora never beat a top 20 guy and said this was a fact.

I proved that “fact” to be incorrect.

    WTF?

No you didn’t.He has never been near the top 20.

Edmund Gerber the unconvincing Sauerland heavyweight prospect lost to Michael Sprott just two fights before that.

Chisora is juiced out of his mind. He was finished 10 years ago when Fury beat him and now these past years he has been performing far and above anything a man of his age (or level) should be. They are all on the steds, Fury, Chisora, Whyte , Joshua etc. Mother****ers cheating the rest of the division

Which org had him? Doesn't look like he fought for any org title prior to the Chisora fight. Guessing WBO, they love a random European

It was the IBF actually that listed him at #15 just below Sprott

Correct, they were both ranked in the top 15 by the IBF, so my point still stands, and Chisora did beat top 20 opponents.

Agit Kabayel boxed his head off. He is done. Show him some movement and tie him up when needed and he is nullified. He can bang though.

If I was Chisora, I'd get through Parker, then avenge that Kabayel loss. On a rematch, in a suitable venue, Chisora would walk down Kabayel.
