If he truly wants to be the best he would have left arum who has no fighters of note at 147. I don't want to here this ridiculous argument that Spence is ducking Crawford when it's Crawford who stayed with a rival promotion with no options at 147. Like i said before that looks more like a duck than anything spence has done.

For me the proof is in the pudding. Crawford has gone after the far easier fights since moving up to Welterweight, Spence has fought better opposition since moving up to world level. a damaged but still very game Brook and now Porter. Crawford cherrypicked the weakest belt holder Welterweight has seen in some time in Horn and then defended against Benavidez and Khan.

Why are you always so slow?

I was illustrating that Bradley and Crawford aren't guys that are very concerned about bling and flash. They're financially responsible. Bradley has made far more money than Danny Garcia, yet he doesn't drive a Rolls Royce Phantom or drip himself in ice. Crawford has gotten a little flashy, but nothing concerning. The point is they both re-signed with TR because they got better deals.

    And you missed another point.

PBC welters ducked each other for YEARS. They are now finally fighting each other. Crawford signing with PBC doesn't mean any of the guys would actually fight him.

Arum has no problem working with Haymon. Haymon has no problem working with Arum. It's the fighters. Gvozdyk-Stevenson is a prime example. Crawford-Khan is another.

    Spence DUCKING.

So, you’re saying that unless Charlo signs with DAZN, he’s ducking Golovkin, Canelo, Andrade, Jacobs and Saunders?

He collected all the belts at 135 and 140. Then he moved to 147, wanted to fight Pacquaio bad,( in fact, he was criticized for chasing an old man) he couldn’t get it so he fought the guy who beat Pacquaio, Arum made an offer to DSG to fight him and got refused, declared interest in fights with Porter and Brook, nothing came up, then he called out Spence, only for Spence to make excuses to avoid the fight. Plus, Spence himself referred Porter as the “easier route”. When you decline a fight and talep on an opponent that you declare as easier, then I don’t see how It’s not a duck.

One could say that. If his contract is up with Haymon and if DAZN continues to have all the key players at 160 and Haymon has none then yes or that he only cares about getting paid and not being the best.

And they’d be wrong. Fighters shouldn’t have to dump the promoters who invest in them to get fights. Any fight can be made if both sides want it bad enough, regardless of promotional issues. And as far as I know, there are no serious promotional issues at the moment, Haymon and Arum worked together on several occasions recently. If Crawford and Spence both want the fight as well as their teams, the fight will get made. But right now only one Side wants it, the other Side is making excuses.

Ridiculous! So I guess that no fighters on Top Rank are hood or have ice? Using your logic Haymon only signs hood guys and guys who rock ice and Top Rank doesn't. You said it not me don't try and back your way out of it now.

Thurman being injured and inactive held up the division. With that said Thurman did fight Porter and Garcia and Pac. I don't know if Crawford got a better deal with Top Rank it's pure speculation. What's not speculation is that if Crawford cared about being the best and was going to fight at 147 then he should have signed with Haymon instead of Top Rank because they have the key fighters at 147 period..

pac tells a different story, and hes the one with the track record of fighting anybody. pac has his version of the loma negotiations also. seems its arum doing the protecting and selling the public a bunch of wolf tickets on behalf of his cash machines.

Even though several reporters who are close to both camps reported that Pac didn’t want it, I didn’t say that he ducked Crawford. I Bud wanted it, which is true. Maybe It was Arum who blocked the fight, but Crawford really wanted it and was extremely sore when Pac got upset by Horn.

Really? Who has he beat? Who has he fought that is the equivalent of Shawn Porter? I do agree with you that Crawford would be his toughest challenge but to say that Spence is ducking him is ridiculous.

And I’m not saying that Pac ducked, just pointing out that Crawford wanted the fight and Arum confirmed it. You should’ve read my post again instead of yours.

If there is no Pacquiao Vs Spence next, and Spence vs Crawford still doesn’t happen, we know Spence is ducking. Until then Porter, Pacquiao are also champs.
