How come though? I am on a veggi diet, I rarely consume meat, and I build muscle and strength just fine???
Might help his career, closest he will get to a championship belt is to join the female boxing division.
Haha yes I remember that deadlift video, it is ingrained into the back of my head whenever I think of Tyson Fury and strength and conditioning. Like a hell of a lot of weight, and the crappiest form ever.
Yeah we all realise that, and hence he needs to do something about his lack of natural power, but bulking up and doing some strength conditioning exercises.. he can't rely on being 6 foot 6 and using his natural power... because he is up against stronger men, similar size in the top 15. Some explosive workout routines would go a long way, deadlifts, cleans/presses, bench press, build some fast twitch muscle... Bag throws, cyclinder block throws, squats
I remember their stories of routine boot/training camps out in (belgium/denmark??) somewhere cold and wet and they were out trudging around in the **** Rocky 4 style. Very rough and ready. Maybe they needed that **** back when they were just young prospects, but not now.
His diet seems to be extremely limited. Definitely lacking in nutrients and likely lacking in proteins. Hormones also play a big part in muscle growth and Hughie might be suffering from imbalances. He did say that his metabolism is exceptionally high. Btw, good luck with anemia and B12 deficiencies Those two are a mother****er, and I know so from personal experience.
Yeah I agree, veggie ain't perfect, but I do it out of convenience, because meat has become expensive, I can't cook it everyday, and I need to consume a lot of food for training. Too much B12 is also a bad thing.
The guy needs a proper strength and conditioning coach. No reason why someone at 6’6 shouldn’t be in the 230s lean.
Try ground beef, and if you can, eat eggs and drink raw milk. I used to eat veggies with ground beef and cheese every day. Good times. And eating a ton of veggies sucks, especially when training a lot. Takes a lot of vegetables to get those calories in. And good luck on getting too much B12. You would have to eat a ridiculous amount of liver and organ meats.
Don't like Eggs, and Milk is not compatible with me. Gotta find something you can eat day in and day out for efficiency.
