    What?

So you are talking about a governing body after all that? Not even boxrec, and certainly not what everyone else goes by and that’s a set of independent respected rankings.

You sad,sad man, clinging to a governing body ranking.Have you seen some of the rankings? So let’s just say for example Tom Schwarz was no 2 with the WBO and Otto Wallin is no 4 yet how are they perceived as opponents for Fury?

Regardless, it's an official sanctioning body, and POW has officially been proved wrong.

Like it or not, take it or leave it... Edmund was a top 20 at the time.

On top of that, Carlos Takam was a top 20 by all and every account. Malik Scott same story.

If we're talking 'consensus' top 20, then I think Takam and Scott are probably fair shouts at the time.

Chisora is a prime pudding and always will be - all he has is that overhead right that Tyson Fury sees coming like a big Red Bus on a straight road 500 yards away on a clear day.

    Agreed.

Scott was expected to beat Chisora by most and Takam was a solid fringe contender who had tested Parker and Joshua.

Just don’t blag Edmund Gerber FFS.

I'll give you Takam who was coming off a very good performance against Joshua however if you consider Gerber top 20 then Swarchz was ranked 2 with the WBO and 5 with the IBF do you consider him a top 20 heavyweight?

Malik Scott was unbeaten at the time but even boxrec had him listed well outside the top 20. He was never a top 20 fighter.

I remember many thinking Takam would beat Chisora at the time too. People had Chisora as slight underdog despite home advantage.

Chisora has never got to world level and is at best British champ level but at moment I’d say Dubois would beat him..... just. Would be a great fight though proper war!!!

There was a recent presser before the latest Chisora fight where the interviewer got a few mins with Del - with Parker joining them briefly. Chisora and Parker weighed in for their last fights within 4lb's of one another, yet Del looked massive stood next to Parker. Chisora can't help his juvenile behaviour and tried to embarrass Parker by getting hold of his arm and saying "look at those chicken wings" and laughing. Parker brushed it off and the interview ended shortly after though I am sure Parker won't forget it.

It does question their body types though. Parker looks small but he is a big lad at 17st plus and it all looks like natural body make up, compared to Chisora who almost looks freakish.

Parker's heritage means he will be heavier than he looks. He's of Samoan stock and their bones are often heavy and dense. I doubt Parker would care too much about Chisora messing around though.
