I'd like to see him fight the New Zealand champ next up, Bowyn Morgan. If he's still recognised as Australian champ, a win would make him Australasian champ. That's a rare achievement for any Australian or New Zealand fighter. Then put plans in place for him to challenge for the Commonwealth title (they're affiliated with the WBC) & the WBC International title. From there, it's a short step to a WBC world title shot. These young blokes need to put plans in place if they want to get somewhere. My plan for Drop Bombs Lewis is a WBC title shot after a dozen pro fights. If he's good enough, it's achievable. It's early days, but I like what I've seen so far.
A bridge to Fa..he should Pullev out of this fight. Doesn't make a lot of sense for Pulev either seeing he only needs to play the waiting game.
Lewis can certainly be moved along a bit quicker because of his amateur pedigree and talent. I heard they want Joel C. I can see that coming off in 6 months or so.
It feels like Fa has been around for a while and I had been waiting for him to start facing better opposition but I think you could be right and Pulev could end up being to steep a step for him to take, a win would certainly help get him in the mix for a title shot in next year or so
Pulev should beat him easily,Fa is far to green and tbh i'm not even sure how he has a top 10 rankings with the level opposition he has been fighting
The ABC's have always been lenient with heavyweights just so long as they're active, crush enough cans and you'll get ranked. Fa was clearly a poor pro based on some earlier lethargic and close bouts at domestic level but going life and death with the corpse of Guinn(even going down) is unforgivable. There's very little upside for this guy and the best option for him is keep crushing cans and hope that maybe Parker gets a belt again so he can cash out. Pulev will whoop his ass and I doubt he'll make very much from it.
50/50. There was a tipping comp for tonight's fight card whereby if you pick all seven winners plus method of result, you win $5000. I've gone with Junior Tszyu by kayo in that.
