The fight is in Russia Yarde hasn't done anything remotely close to Kovalev's resume Sure, Yarde is a lot younger but he's going into enemy territory against an older but still dangerous and proven Krusher. The odds should be more like 4-1, 5-1 Kovalev as the favorite. It's a bit baffling that Vegas has this fight so close right now...
The odds are way too close in my opinion. I hope Yarde does it but he should be a 4/5-1 shot at least instead of 2-1.
Because of the perception that Kovalev is a loose cannon, an on-point completely focused Sergey turns up it will be easy work for him, but if he's turned back in the old drunken a-hole who isn't listening to Buddy, doing what he wants and training himself, he may very well end up getting knocked the f*** out. I love Kovalev, but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not nervous as hell every time he steps in the ring lately.
Maybe they think Kovalev goes into the fight with distractions from his legal issues. Kovalev kick his ass.
Maybe because this is Yarde in camp: This content is protected And this is resembles one of Krusher's camps: This content is protected
I Idk Sergey looked pretty good with Buddy. And that's coming from the guy who bet against him in that rematch.
The training footage I've seen of him is good as well, and he did look exemplary under Buddy. But his recent drunken escapade on the plane has really freaked me out.
