Not a matchroom fanboy but what planet are you living on pal, AJ vs Ruiz 1 was going AJs way until the fragility everyone had seen was exposed by his pack of experience. He hurt Ruiz and tried to finish in a rush and got caught and never recovered. I expect he wins easily this time.
Going AJ's way? He was getting walked down by the much smaller Ruiz from early round 1. Did you actually watch it?
Of course i did and unlike you (im guessing) i have actually boxed, he was winning until the knock down yes ruiz was trying to walk him down and had occasional success but that what happens at world level ! Its cute you thought you had an argument but your AJ hatred is even more pathetic than those who love none the less.
Getting walked down by a smaller man ?!!! What do you think smaller heavyweights always try to do pal, honestly your clueless go and watch a boxing match and come back.
A new arena? Will they include the bodies of the slaves buried in the fondations that died building it in the official attendence figures?
Seriously your just a joke man, the way you say it AJ was getting smashed ! If it was as successful as you say then why did it take that long for AJ to be hurt bad. Seriously mate for your health, never box stick to the pot noodles and chris morris films.
"We've got to embrace it Koogs. Just imagine 12,000 Brits on tour in Saudi Arabia. You start the evening off with a camel ride into town, have a couple of cheeky sparkling waters and a veggie burger, watch a couple of stonings before making your way to the arena. We've got Sweet Caroline. We've got Buffer. We've got Anna Woolhouse in a Burqa. Bob's your uncle...it's going to be lit."
'Its all signed' , 'Ruiz has signed' is all we heard yesterday but I thought the Boxing Social interviews were quite interesting when they asked WHEN Ruiz signed , Eddie was slightly lost for words before revealing that he meant he signed for the first fight which in turn included the rematch, so although they seem to be pushing the fact Ruiz has signed something since the first fight it seems that isn't the case. I know technically nothing else needs to be signed as the first contract would've covered the rematch too but just the simple question of WHEN seemed to shoot down in flames the rhetoric being pushed by matchroom that Ruiz had suddenly agreed to everything. Frank Smith was asked the same question , WHEN and he said he obviously couldn't answer that , now we know why. All seems a bit strange .
Very very odd for him to be saying these things publically if there's nothing in it. Wonder what's going on..
Just came in to post this myself. What a mess. Surely this will have all been cleared and signed off before announcing and a press conference?
I think the fact that Ruiz didn't post about it on social media and allegedly American TV companies either didn't post about it or deleted posts about it says a lot. Clearly something is going down. Hearn was very tetchy about it when interviewed on IFL.
