I just hope any fight in the UK in December is against someone worthwhile.

It's in Frank's interest to make a big fight in the UK in December, especially now Matchroom have the bad PR from going to Saudi.

Could make it a big Heavyweight show - Fury, Dubois, Joyce, Gorman..

Would love to see Fury fight someone like Whyte (seeing as Whyte is on a fight by fight with Matchroom, should be possible to make?). I don't think Fury would get away with another no-hoper, especially in the UK.

Don't think it's remotely likely with the Wilder fight in the first part of 2020.. but that's my ideal situation.

    Otto Wallin? Jesus!!!!

Worst tomato can out there. What's his ranking? #182???

Fury ain't got the balls or the heart to fight a top ten guy. Not even a top twenty....

    Or a top 30......

    Or a top 40.....

    Or a top 50.......

Safety first, 6 foot 9 clown, he is a waste of space. As good as Muhammed Ali??? Gtfo lol

He has got mileage on him, taking on Pianeta, Schwarz, Seferi, takes a lot out of you!!!

He has been in tough fights. Clearly very stressfull to fight top 100 opposition.

It's very unlikely as Fury signed a 2 fight a year minimum for the 5 fight deal which they will stretch to its fullest. Signed in Feb this year, so Wallin will be his final fight this year and he'll be back out around Feb of next.

From what he said in the interview out yesterday, any fight in December isn't part of his ESPN deal - hence why he's allowed to fight in the UK. This would be a separate fight on BT Sport.

I haven't watched it yet, but what Fury says isn't worth believing a lot of the time. It's what he's signed to currently that counts and that is his mega deal. ESPN will also not want him to be straying outside of that.

Probably worth watching the interview before commenting then because he's not going to lie about something like that.

I will watch it, however previous comments stand about his current contract. It makes no sense for him to fight away from that and away from ESPN. He is captive until that contract is fulfilled, or he walks away from it and it is unlikely that they have paid him up front. He is earning mega bucks with them.

I get your point completely and it's very frustrating to see Fury fight these no-hopers. I think you can excuse Seferi and Pianeta though as he was fresh back from the weight loss. Schwartz and Wallin very disappointing though.

Watch it then because he explains the situation - he has a deal with ESPN but in his agreement with them he's allowed a fight (maybe more than one) in the UK outside of his ESPN deal. That's the terms of his contract.

The UK fight will presumably be hosted by BT so maybe it's a stipulation that's come from them.

That sounds like utter madness but if it's Fury saying it then I'm not surprised. He also told us that he wanted Miller for his next fight and that it would be a proper opponent and an American, which led us all down the garden path again trying to work out who was still relevant over there and a good test. Then they churn out Wallin and everyone groans. That's Fury for you.

So hes allowed to fight a can in the UK besides America
It as to be a can as ESPN ain't going to jeopardize the wilder rematch
    Fury just wants free money

That's true, he's highly contradictory but that's just how he is.

I guess now he's said it publically on a BT sport interview we can be fairly sure that a December fight is happening as it'll be shown by them. Just hope it's a decent match-up for him.

If that clause is in his agreement then yes I would love to see another fight. He mentioned that Wilder would not be ready in Feb so that fight will be put further back, so I'm thinking back end of next year which would be 2 years since their first fight and enough time for both of them to have earned huge amounts before one of them loses his unbeaten record to the other.
