Good luck to Fury. Usyk has been declared mandatory.

I think Hearn will be more concerned about the belts getting scattered than Ruiz will.

Yes, total disaster at that point. They need to throw whatever money at Andy that he's asking for and then add another big bag of gold on top. It's amazing that they are playing around.

Reverse psychology really. It's not on ruiz terms, if he's signed a rematch clause which gives MR the right to pick the venue.
As long as MR have the rematch clause water tight, it will be on MR terms.
Andy is trying to tilt himself some negotiating terms, by threatening not to do the rematch, because of (a) it's in Saudi," I fear for my life there"or (b)" I'm not going to UK because of what happened to rivas". Things like this is putting the wind up Hearn, as he wants the belts back asap for a.j, but Haymon had better watch how far he keeps pushing, because he could end up falling off the cliff. In a way it's very interesting, let's see who's nerve holds out the most.
Calling a.j scared is just reverse psychology from Andy. He wants the rematch in usa and he's trying to bait a.j.

I imagine it largely has been done; Ruiz may just be angling for a few more quid but like him or loathe him Hearn has never seemed the type to risk his own money on running a whole promotional tour, having all the promos cut and dried and so on without the contracts being signed.

From what I have read and in line with a couple of posters yesterday, the bout is yet to be signed. He's signed for the rematch but not bout 2. When listening to Eddie in all these vids he's very quickly saying it's already signed, meaning Andy has put his signature down to take a rematch, but that has to be signed off as well once the details are known.

This certainly gives a strong impression that Ruiz’s signature is on the original rematch clause contract and not something specific for Saudi

So technically Ruiz is contractually bound by the rematch terms in the original contract : 'rematch to be at a venue of Matchrooms choosing' or some such clause.
I guess if it goes to court they will try to argue that the original contract was unconscionable so not binding.
Maybe they can find a friendly judge to rule that Saudi isn't safe.
I have no doubt Eddie has already got standby UK venues on retainer and will just whip that out if it comes to it.

As I've said time and time again, Hearn is used to playing in the UK leagues where he is the Celtic and can do what he wants, he has now moved Celtic into the Champions League and is now not the big dog and against other promoters with massive money, influence and seen Hearn's type a thousand times before.

Ruiz hasn’t got a leg to stand on. Let’s be honest.

Eddie will have a watertight contract stating that the rematch will be in a location of their choosing. Ruiz can barter and play stupid and threaten the belts but at the end of the day he’s going to get sued for breach of contract and loss of earnings. AJ stands to earn £50mil from this fight so good luck to team Ruiz.

Part of me thinks Eddie has done this on purpose because Ruiz wouldn’t agree to Cardiff so he’s sold to the highest bidder so that the potential loss of earnings has increased to help force their hand?

America cracked AJ, so he’s off to fill those cracks with sand...

Ever heard of the Ali Act? If not I suggest you read up on it as that's clearly the route Big Andy and Uncle Al are going down. "Watertight" contracts are his problem. He had it sewn up so much in Joshua's favor, it looks like Haymon's bigtime New York lawyers have effectively ruled it null and void.

Good luck getting an American judge to agree that Andy getting 10% as the champion is fair.

lmfao Hearn has been had, bigtime, and has just had lots of Arabian sand just kicked in his face. This isn't going to be in Saudi.

It's either going to be in America or nowhere. And I seriously doubt Hearn will risk the US anytime soon.

Ruiz is gonna retire, and those shiny belts will be relinquished. Al Haymon and the bomb squad rubbing their hands for the super fight of Deontay fighting the blob to determine the real number one heavyweight. lol.
