So far we have only a few minutes of Corbett fight in decent quality, anything more is not available online.

We also have the last round of Lang fight, how possible is to find more from that fight?

I've also heard that the second Maher bout was filmed, it's rather unlikely to find it but it's still possible.

What else is within possibilites? Maybe his bout against Gardner or O'Brien? Maybe something against Ruhlin or Sharkey?

Tell me all you know about it ;)

We have a remarkable amount of footage of him given the era he fought in. It would be surprising if anything else turned up but not impossible.

The Maher fight was filmed but the day it was filmed on was overcast. In that era camera's needed a lot of light and because of the cloudy day the film didnt turn out.

The Obrien fight was filmed so thats a possibility. A re-enactment of the Ruhlin bout featuring both Fitz and Ruhlin as themselves was filmed on a rooftop in Philadelphia. Its not a real fight but it would be film of Fitz himself.

Outstanding news! Thanks for that, hopefully it's possible that some day we'll see that footage. Even past his prime Fitz would be a joy to watch.

Fitzsimmons can be seen on clear film vs Lang. The problem is he was very old.

Also Ftiz vs Lang was flimed in the year 1909 when Fitz was 46 years old. Fitz was actually in the lead, but faded late and lost badly via KO. The last two rounds can be seen and it might surprise a few people how modern old time fighters can look on film that is clear. I have this film.

Do you really have 11th round on film? Where did you find it? How can I get it? Can you tell me more about this round?

Yes I do. Its not a hard film to obtain. You can trade for it, or buy it. I'll send you a PM.

Also, there is about 15-20 unites of action of Fitz vs Corbett and the film appears to be shot from a distance and up close on what's left.

Do you think there's any realistic chance of more of the Corbett fight turning up?

I've seen both videos, but it's only last round where Fitz was visibly tired. I've heard that more exists from this fight.

Highly unlikely. Nitrate film doesn't tend to age well and the US never really had good film conservation policies. A lot of old films have been rediscovered abroad, cinema houses there were shipped film reels, and evidently took a lot better care of their film. I doubt any of Fitzsimmons fight films were in high demand in the foreign market, so it's unlikely there's anything out there that we don't already know of.
