2 career high paydays aren't an exploitative contract. A b-side giving up certain rights as part of a negotiated contract to an A-side with potential upside ain't exploitative.

Got 'em in the same bind that Fury put Klitschko in. You weren't supposed to lose. The guy is levels below you in terms of ability. You ****ed up. Fought a **** fight and lost. Now, it's gonna' cost you. Pay up, or say good bye to the belts. You lost most of your leverage and you can't treat this fight like all the others where you low balled your opponent and kept all the cash.

This reality really hasn't hit home for about 80% of the Eddie nuthuggers yet.

That is 100% their thinking and it's up to Hearn to outmaneuver them. He's trying to be fair. A fake press conference was Stage 1.....

AJ can fight his way up through the ranks again and maybe get a title shot after he fights a couple of guys. Or if he wants a money fight he'll have to fight Fury or Wilder, but they'll be giving terms to a guy with no belts who just got knocked out. He's gonna' have to pay Ruiz if he wants those belts back. Ruiz is holding all the cards and they can't act like he's not.

Andy Ruiz is smarter than he looks I'm starting to become a fan of his. I used to strongly dislike Ruiz. I hope he denies Hearn the rematch **** Aj.
Wilder-Ruiz is way better aj is getting battered like last night's onion rings

How much do you think fight fans will pay to see a guy with no belts fight another contender?

The question and conclusion any intelligent person has arrived at now isn't the bumfluffery of arguing over contracts online as if any of us has seen or knows the scope of them; it's making a calculated guess at whether Hearn is:
    • Willing to give millions more to Andy AND risk Joshua losing marking the end of his career.
    • Or, will he take Joshua back to the UK for about another 2 years of milking the UK casuals. I strongly suspect the latter and have done since that dream-like night in June. And have stated as much.

Amongst all the armchair lawyer talk and dick swinging, people are forgetting that Joshua got bounced around the ring by Ruiz and was outclassed from the off. It wasn't a one-off Lewis Rachman style freak punch. It was near enough a one sided beat down.

F****** stupid imo!what is it about AJ that makes folk act illogical?I mean this is a guy who stepped in when others were playing that game, beat him handsomely and can do the same again in any venue.
All these top A side fighters are always gonna have rematch clauses so I don't see the issue, unless as I suspect with other cases like this it's more to do with cycling those PEDs out before the rematch.

Tell you what folk **** on Floyd but he was well on the ball 're rematches.

PEDs are just par for the course imo.Sure Ruiz don't look like ol roidy gut but to suggest he doesn't do em is naive at best.

It's a bad look, even Ward, someone I'm not keen on,gave Kovalev his rematch.Money nearly always brings the worst out in folk and what bugs me the most about all this is the modern trend of putting all this stuff out on social media as if it's got anything to do with the public.

Andy Ruiz was considered an easy win for AJ . WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ruiz legitimately kicked Joshua's ass. He is now the World Heavyweight Champion whether Hearn & AJ like it or not
To offer him 10% & go to Saudi is insulting. IF & its debateable AJ is really the man he claims he'll rematch in the US its the right thing to do. As for Hearn? I dont think he's confident AJ can ever beat Andy again so he wants to load the dice against him. Its time to man up boys
