To be fair to AJ, I think if it were up to him he'd go right back to MSG, didn't he say as much right after the fight?

So might not be at a neutral location?

Some people on here are so biased it``s just unreal. And most of them are talking completely nonsenses. Whoever thinks that Ruiz can keep Joshua/Hearn in some kind of a ransom it`s so wrong.
The only thing he can hurt Joshua is his resume, by not agree to face him ever again. And that lost to stay like that.
But there is obviously a contract signed, and there is like 99,99% they cover everything, the split in the rematch, who have the words in where the fight will take place and etc.
If Ruiz decide to not fight, firstable he will lose the titles, secondly there is obviously a big breach of contract clause and third the fat boy will get sued and probably will lose every penny he have.
I liked Ruiz at the start, but i can`t respect a sh*** behaviour like that. He was given a chance, in the first fight he earned more than he has ever get for his whole fights combined, he put his signature and accept the terms of the contract and now he is crying like a little baby.
It`s like you sign a contract for a new job, but after few months and good result from you to said i don`t want to work here anymore i wont to work on other country and i want to get paid a lot more. Ain`t gonna happen.
The first fight was in his courtyard, so it was completely fair the second fight to be in UK, and it`s even in neutral place and the fat boy still cry.
And pls don`t tell me all that crap b.c. about doping things, because if talk about corruption number 1 will be America. They protect their fighters and if anyone mysteriously pops they just took his license for 6 months .... A great ban time .... Totally fair.
Not to mention they cover everything. And the overprotected so call "best" Champion of the world - Wilder. Just look at his resume and the whole picture is very clear.
I can`t have respect for people like Fury and Ruiz who are doing sh*** and refusing rightfully rematching dominant Champions like Klitschko and AJ.
Ruiz doesn`t have any leverage, the only thing he can do is refuse Joshua rematch, but he will get ***** big time for that and will lose all of his money.

Let me break it down for you real simple what's now going to happen. Either Hearn caves into Haymon's venue and $$$ demands or AJ isn't going to fight for the foreseeable future. This will smash MR's revenue and AJ's brand to bits now Whyte is out of the picture. At the very least the belts will be scattered to the wind and AJ will have to climb through all the many obstacles to try and regain them lel.

If you think Ruiz is just going to blindly accept whatever terms Hearn wants then you are badly badly mistaken and have swallowed wayyyy to much iFL Kool-Aid.

AJ will get his title shot very fast, but Andy the fat Ruiz will be on the street with zero money in his pocket. Of course he isnt that that dumb and at the end will go and fight and get his a** beat up big time.
This is what ia going to happen. At the end Joshua have trump card and options, while Ruiz doesnt.
This is a fast court case, nothing complicated. Ruiz have to paid for the breach of contract and then get sued for even more and find himself on the street. The fat boy love the highlight, and at end will go and get his a.. beat.

Guy got his ass handed to him by the state puff marshmallow man...and they ignore that and wanna claim victories over fake locations and press conferences. I've never seen anything this pathetic. His fans literally want him HANDED A TITLE FOR GIVING A DATE AND LOCATION!!!

Silly Eddie should never have brought in a Haymun fighter in the first place. Did he not learn anything from Dean Whyte being frozen out for 600 days - the work of Al Haymun?
He should have treated Al the way Al treated him , now he has to learn the hard way!

Oh please. Do me a favour!

If Ruiz has already signed the contract for the rematch and negates it he’s getting sued and will for 99.99% sure lose.

Looking at this thread it’s clear you can’t stand Matchroom but come on at least start living in reality. Hearn vs Haymon clash of the titans. That sounds like something off WWE.

Don't forget though that before the first fight that around 99.99% of people thought that Ruiz would lose and look how that turned out.

Maybe, but heavyweight boxing is a sport where anything can happen. Contract law is not a sport where anything can happen. You break your contract by refusing to fight, you're screwed.

Not neccessarily, contracts can be challenged if they are unfair.

Challenged. Sure. But if you have signed that's it pal. You have agreed to it. You can challenge it all you want but if the other party don't agree to the amendment then no dice.
