Ruiz never said he wouldn't face Joshua again. He said that he wouldn't go to Saudi Arabia, which is not unreasonable.

Yeah it's a terrible deal but if that is indeed what he has signed for, that's what he's signed for.

the belts are worth way more than that,im picking the Judge can overturn a contract if its deemed unreasonable.

Once he has signed it, it would be highly unlikely they could force it to be amended. They will argue that if he deemed it to be unreasonable and hadn't signed it under duress or deception he just shouldn't of signed it in the first place. It probably wouldn't realistically even make it to court would be my guess.

Even apparent cast iron contracts rarely seem to end up in court and there's often some kind of compromise rather than dragging it out in long legal procedures that just fills the pockets of the lawyers and puts both fighters careers on hold.

Take the apparent rematch clause in the original contract that we are told said that the rematch had to be back in the UK. Once Ruiz voiced his doubts, did anyone really think that Hearn would have delayed the fight indefinitely while he attempted to enforce it through the courts or come up with some kind of compromise like taking it to an alternative location that would ensure that the fight would go ahead asap?

Ken gets it. The clause is being unraveled as we speak. It's not being "enforced" at all.

When will everyone else get the picture that Hearn is a lying douchebag and is purposefully negotiating thru the media to put pressure on Ruiz? Almost everything Hearn has said has turned out to be BS.

Just read on another site that the only thing that exists of the "venue" in SA is a draft blueprint.

They said that at the press conference, this is not news, the stadium hasn't been constructed yet.
