I've never heard of him so I checked boxrec and he looks like a absolute killer but his record stinks.
Pretty poor. 37 now, career SMW and wasn't that good anyway. He was competitive with Chudinov but still lost.

Maybe. But don't think it would be fair, because just take a look at what Yarde was fighting at that point of his career. He had just fought his 2nd opponent sporting a winning record. It's a bad opponent for sure, but compared to Yarde he's being fasttracked.
Buasti should be fighting better. Still not not giving the Yarde stick due to him beating better opposition in less fights than Yarde.

Haven't had a problem with Buatsi's opponent's so far given his career stage, but it's time to step up.
When he’s ranked 2 in the world and ducking fighters at domestic level then he deserves the criticism Yarde got. Right now he deserves criticism but he’s nowhere near the stage Yarde was at when he was getting criticised for opponents.
