Why do you think Bean has a very good chin.

The Bean had some very quick hands in his heyday. If Duran comes in too gung ho he might get clipped with something major, especially if he bulked up in preparation to fight a heavyweight. Can't see it even Duran taking a good punch from Butterbean and remain standing

What makes you think he can punch hard?

History is littered with world class small men twating mediocre big men.

i've seen him take some real shots, kick boxing and boxing, I just can't recall seeing him get iced that many times. He has to be somewhere around 100 fights total. He's clearly able to absorb some heavy ****

Duran at 5'7 with a 66 inch reach vs Butterbean a shade under 6ft with 10 inch reach advantage and way over 200 pound weight advantage, i would suggest Duran utters "No Mas" in double quick time.

Many fighters known for having glass chins would be able to claim granite had they fought at the level Bean did.

Too much size difference. Butterbean was quick fisted and heavy handed,Duran would get caught with something and brutally ko-ed.

I agree with you in theory. But Butterbean is a 120 fight veteran in martial arts (kickboxing and boxing). I don't think I've ever seen him ko'd in kickboxing (only submitted), and never seen him stopped in the boxing ring (although he has been I think once or twice). I think his chin is far more proven than the majority of men on earth. Size/impact and force is still relative and he's been hit and kicked plenty enough by big professional guys to show his chin is likely solid even at a world level.

No way could Duran stop Butterbean.
