Pernell vs Chavez and GGG vs Canelo 2 are both clinics that turned out to be robberies. What other clinics can you think of?
Seth Mitchell-Banks II.......... Joking, I loved Lara-Angulo & Lara had to follow same day weigh ins while Angulo did not.
I thought one of the nicest fighters to watch was Genaro Hernandez. I know it is not as much one fight I mention, but Nelson for example. He was smooth.
Canelo GGG 2 was a Mexican Style clinic by the Mexican. Canelo GGG 1 was a true clinic, an absolute masterclass by Canelo. Canelo did some of his best work off the ropes and disproved a theory that was being touted going into the fight about how going to the ropes vs GGG is such a huge no-no. Canelo made a statement in how he fought so long on the ropes and landed some big shots on GGG while there like that huge uppercut.
Dennis Hogan vs Jamie Munguia. Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder. Two recent ones that come to mind. Happens every week somewhere in boxing.
Fury vs Wilder? I dont consider getting dropped twice in two different rounds as putting on a boxing clinic. But thats just me. That term is for performances fir fighters that dont get put on their ass and then their back. And Canelo beat G in the rematch imo. No clinic there. Cant think of a recent clinic that was robbed from the victor.
Boxing fans are the absolute best. We have so many terms with no meaning at all. Can I Box said that a 8-4 decision is a clinic
