***Canelo - Kovalev for Nov. or Dec. Says Kovalev's manager***

    GBP and Kovalev's team have reached a deal according to Kovalev's manager. Canelo is just waiting for the results of Kovalev-Yarde to sign the contract.

    Fight will likely take place in Nov. or Dec. of this year.

    This is a fight I want to see.

    So, this ginger douche stain started his career at light welter or welter and will soon be fighting at LHW? Thats proof in itself this ******* is juicing his ****ing tits off. Any District Attorney's out there!?!? Hit this clown with a ****ing attempted murder, manslaughter, mayhem, A&B w/ a deadly weapon, friggin something FFS. This is beyond pathetic. I wonder why not Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, or Bivol instead. NVM, forgot Gvoz and AB are fighting next. Still, Bivol.

    This is just a bizarre matchup to me.

    This gives me the same feeling that Mosley vs Mora and Mikey vs Spence gave me.

    Moreso the Mikey fight. Him and Mikey, two guys looking way above their divisions for fights their likely to lose, in fights that nobody was asking for and dont really make a whole lot of sense. Simply... bad decisions, imo.

    In Mikeys case though, he would have received tons of credit for winning. For Canelo, even though he's undersized here, many have been calling Kova past it to varying degrees for awhile now, and has been stopped twice now. I forsee the credit Canelo gets should he win, to be a mixed bag.

    That being said... while I dont really want this matchup, or get why Canelo seems set on making it, and I personally do think Kova is well past it, depending on how he looks against Yarde, I will still give Canelo a lot of props for making this fight happen. Regardless of Kovas condition (unless he looks completely shot against Yarde) he will still be facing a legitimate puncher in a new weightclass and one with a legitimate size advantage.

    Props from me.

    I just... dont get it.

    I'll have to see what Kovalev still has in him before I can have anything more than just "hope" for him. It's good that he's fighting this Yarde fellow...Kov will be under the microscope for sure.

    No. Canelo needs the title. It will be at LHW but with a rehydration clause.

    I don’t know what the **** canelo is thinking? Kovalev can have him out if there with one shot!!!

    This is career suicide by canelo. Should have just offered Derevyanchenko an extra million or 2 abs that was a winnable fight to save face!!!

    We are in for a quick K.o

    Kovalev is soft to the body, past prime and at least one level down from GGG. Canelo has a very good shot to beat him imo by ko with a body punch. Kovalev will have big problems catching canelo (his upper body movement will be hell for kovalev) and he is also way slower than canelo.
    Imo it's a smart move to get a really big fight and take one lhw title
