Would Smith (very technical, heavy handed..) be a bit too much for Saunders or do u think he could frustrate him & nick a close one? Come on Eddie stop tea bagging Joshua & let's make the fight...
Hard figh Hard fight for Billy, if they were similar size i'd take him no probs, Smith would be to big imo
Sounders was too scared of ggg . You really think he'll move up & take on a challenge ggg is too scared to take on
I want to see BJS against the top names at 160 TBH. The Smith fight is fine if he cannot get Chill Con Canelo or Old Man Golovkin in the ring.
Smith is a giant. He looks like he should be fighting at light heavy/cruiser. BJS is special though. I'm not sure if he can take a punch but he moves so slick and fast. However that could all change if he feels callum smith's best on his chin.
It would be hard for BJ to fo his usual stick and move routine against someone that much taller and a much bigger reach. Can't see anything but a Smith win in that one.
I dont know if BJS is the one to do it, but his style is the one thats needed to beat Callum Smith if they are significantly shorter in height and reach compared to Smith.
Somebody mentioned that Saunders is special but I dont see him anywhere near that level. He could be tricky but Smith’s size advantage and the fact that Saunders punches like a girl would allow him to do whatever he wants.
I think Saunders is really good.............at MW. I think Callum is really good.............at SMW. Callum does nothing wrong in the ring. There's not much to capitalize on against him, especially if you're the smaller guy. I don't think any SMWs or MWs beat Smith at this time. Benavidez would have the best chance but I don't even think he's ready yet.
Saunders is something of a defensive mastermind and a devilishly elusive one at that making him one of the trickiest customers in the game today -in my book anyway. And yet in spite of these qualities I find myself growing more and more convinced that Callum Smith comes away with the win in this instance; catching BJS with something monstrous with the finish line in sight and Saunders up on points.
