H2h isn't the same as resume. What I said is true. A good big man beats a good small man. Pac was a bigger guy than Barerra, Morales and JMM. Mayweather was smaller than Castillo and Corrales when the fights occured.

But Pac was coming from lighter weights to beat them. He didn't look bigger in the ring also against them. Morales was taller. JMM in their 4th fight looked certainly bigger.

Pac was draining a lot more than Barerra. Pac fans try to twist those fights like they're better than anything Mayweahter did, but Barerra was always beatable and never dominant, regardless of being an ATG.

Morales won the only fight where he was in prime form and Marquez got the best of Pacquaio. His frame was smaller than Pacquaio's even if he added bulk muscle.

A shot Casamayor was able to split rounds with Marquez for like 10 rounds so that should tell you what level Corrales and Castillo were on.

I don't see Pac's work at 126-135 (+Marquez III and IV) as being better than Floyd's work at 130-135. Pac needed to be more dominant.

Never said they were. I was speaking from the time of each fighters being at the top of the game. They were actually bigger names names than Marquez, Morales and MAB at those times. Them fighting Pac elevated their careers. It's the total career and longevity that's the differences between those fighters. Their careers ended better.

This poll proves the fact everyone already knew
Senator Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquaio's legacy ECLIPSES Floyd Joy Sinclair Mayweather junior's
Manny did it the hard way he EARNED all the success he had
Floyd got every advantage both legal & illegal along the way but people saw through the corruption & rightfully crowned Manny !!!! FIGHTER OF THE ERA !!!!

Up until the last couple of years I would have said Floyd but Pac winning against Thurman and even Broner and that, as a 40 odd year old man with THAT style has put him ahead.

It's a sheer quantity thing and Pac vs Thurman when you really look at it and the ages involved was a level of challenge.

If Floyd came back now and whooped a top 5 at 147 I'd be looking at changing my mind but how much does pac need to do to get past that H2H loss?

Herns being better than Duran is a matter of opinion. The fact that Pac has and still compete at the welter weight division with success, rules out his natural weight class, because clearly 147lbs is not to big for him to compete in. That being said, Pac fought wars in the ring because that's his style/choice of fighting. His decline is his own doing, not Floyds. Floyd has shown through out his career that he's the smarter more skilled fighter between the two. Which is why he's never been KOd or beaten before. His skill allows him to throw very few punches than his opponents because he relies on accuracy not volume and wasted energy. The best fighter of this era hands down is Floyd his skill sets him apart, he proved that when they fought. Now legacy is a different story. Like I mentioned before, should Pac continue on the with what he's doing. His legacy will be better than Floyd, but if these two meet again in the ring, and Floyd beats him a second time. No matter what Pac has accomplished within his career, his legacy couldn't be better than Floyd because he can't beat the best fighter of his era.

Floyd used illegal IV fluids in their fight. He cheated. Let's see Floyd undergo VADA testing and beat Pac. When the playing field is level, then you can say Floyd is the superior fighter.

Pac is a FIGHTER!! he EARNED everything he got
Floyd was a manufactured boxer had every advantage given him both legal & illegal.
Surely the poll results tell the story 68 % of the forum believe Pac is fighter of the decade & fighter of the era That should put an end to the arguement But Ive no doubt PimpC, IsaLiar etc will say 68 % of the forum DKSAB lol

Lets see who will beat who in the second fight. If Pac loses to Floyd again then that the real answer would be.

I don't think so. One head to head matchup does not mean as much as a whole career.
