A week from Saturday at Bendigo Stadium. WBA middleweight Oceanic title at stake, first defense of Horn.

The champion is coming off a blitzkrieg of Anthony Mundine nine months ago. The challenger lost a decision to Kell Brook a week later, then rebounded this past April by knocking out Les Sherrington. Zerafa is two inches taller with a 3½″ reach advantage.

Later in the day on this same date will be the rematch between Caleb Truax and the only man to stop Zerafa - Kid Chocolate.

Horn is up at middle now? I didnt even realize he fought(and worked) Mundine. Isn't Zerafa a JMW? Horn has definitely faced the better competition of the two, but the height and reach advantages Zerafa has are no joke, especially considering Horn is average at best athletically and skillfully. Well, skillfully might be going too far, but for the life of me I just can't see what makes him so special.

I'll go with Horn UD. I dont think either one has the power to stop the other, but if I'm wrong it would be Horn with the power to stop Zerafa I think. But that reach advantage......... I wouldn't even sneeze in the direction of a bookie with my own money on this fight.

Be interesting to see how Horn handles the step up to middle against a genuine middleweight campaigner (not like the skeleton that Mundine came in as in Horns last fight) . However I think Horn can eek out a points decision against Zerafa in a close contest .

Zerafa is domestic level, it's a no brainer who wins this fight!

Kell Brook wasn't able to stop Zerafa even though he hurt him a few times, but that is a Brook that was coming off of a long layoff who gassed late in the fight. And the Quillin stoppage had more to do with Peter coming into the match rehydrated up to damn near Cruiserweight, against a guy who's a natural Junior Middleweight, so no big deal there. So it's no given than Horn will be able to stop him. But I do think Jeff is special, and has a style that will give most of his opponents not named Bud Crawford.... fits, and even against Bud, it wasn't a walk in the park for him, Crawford did an inordinate amount of holding, it was one of Crawford's uglier and more embarrassing showings. So while Zerafa is better than advertised, I think Jeff is going to absolutely maul him, grind him down, and eventually stop him in the middle rounds.

Horn is a cherry picking cheating POS and I hope that Zerafa can cause the upset. Zerafa winning would not surprise me but it will all depend on if team Horn have their hand picked officials again.

How is he cherry picking, he's moving up to Middleweight. Should a Welterweight moving up to Middleweight, just idiotically hop in the ring with Golovkin or Canelo, like those two boneheads Khan and Brook and suffer their same fates?

Instead of ' Trump derangement syndrome' the Midnight Prowler has 'Horn derangement syndrome' . Hell will freeze over before Midnight ever has a decent comment about Horn:risas3:

He is fighting a part time male stripper who normally fights at 154. Horn could've tested the waters in his last fight against 43 year old Mundine but instead made Mundine boil down to a catch weight with a re hydration clause. If that isn't cherry picking then I don't know what is.

He's a division jumper, he glides between JMW and MW effortlessly. Quillin was too big for Zerafa, but Horn, a Welterweight is not. There's absolutely nothing wrong with him as his first Middleweight opponent.
