Finally caught sight of the full interview and my word, this guy has completely lost the plot. I usually skip his boring interviews, but this one was such a car crash that I couldn't turn my eyes and ears from.

The speaks like a well oiled robot with the key firmly placed his back

Save those from listening to 50 mins of pure unadulterated drivel disguised as philosophical musings, I've time stamped the key questions and answers

7:40mins Fighting in America felt bigger than fighting in the uk

12:48 mins - Weird robotic malfunctioning silence when asked if there was anything wrong leading up to the fight

15:42mins Asks what is a panic attack

17:52mins: Plays dumb again and says he doesn't know what a concussion is

21:18mins Ruiz isn't that skillful a fighter. It was a lucky punch a punch sent by the Gods

25:15 mins: Compares Rob Mckaken to Cus D'Amato

34:46 mins: Had to show the world how to deal with pressure and show the heavweight division how to deal with a loss

37:20: Dodged the quit job question .

Other key points

• Says 9 times out of ten he he beats Ruiz
• Had nothing to fight for and nothing to gain and lost passion for boxing. Challenging for the title gives greater purpose than defending the belts
• No one wanted to fight him

I watched the interview and found it bizarre too, alot of questions he answered would go off on tangents with no relevancy to what was asked, I think I have more questions and know less after watching the bloody thing lol

I will say that during my watch I didnt think he is trying to directly compare rob to cus, I picked up that he was trying to convey the relationship between him and rob to be similar to tyson and cus (again quite a strech) when answering the response some people had to switch trainers, he's basically trying to say no-one would suggest that tyson replace cus as a trainer because they had a personal connection and were a great fit and hes sees his relationship with rob as something similar and thinks he is the best fit for him as a trainer

We don't trust your video summary, so we'll watch it ourselves.

Before I do, just want to say that AJ wins the rematch.

Sounded like a man in turmoil to me, different from the positive image he was trying to project immediately after the loss. Lots of resent and blaming the division for not fighting him, guess he and his team played no part in that. He is in a tough position though, pressure like that just can’t be shrugged off, like he is trying to make out. If he manages to beat Ruiz, fairly on a level playing field, he will deserve some serious respect, like him or not. I don’t see it though.

I watched a couple of minutes and it really wasn't very good. Anna Woolhouse isn't Jeremy Paxman but he still made heavy going of it. He's like one of those magic 8 balls, give him a shake and out pops an aphorism. What he's doing going on about Wilder etc is beyond me.

25:00 I agree with him that he shouldnt change Mcracken just because of one set back.

People swap trainers too much, look at people like Khan.

People that are HOFers usually had one trainer. Calzaghes, Pac, Mayweather, Ali, usually had one trainer. All their carrers.

''We''???

You're a one man army, never forget that Inferno.

Btw all I've done is quoted exactly what was said by Android Joshua, which you can verify by using your ears to listen while watching the interview, something which may well be beyond your capacity.

Don't really understand why you mock AJ so much? Given his last 5 opponents... compared to say Wilder/Fury...??

Who are you trying to fool exactly?

He isn't in Fury's or Wilder's league, so there is no point for resume comparison.

I think we can confidently say that the defeat against Ruiz was a blessing. For had he gone on to fight Wilder there is no doubt that he would be bearing an 8 inch surgical scar etched across the back of his head to this day, which would be an unfortunate fate.

Also It wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility, that Dillian purposely overdosed to forfeit his mandatory position as the prospect of getting in the ring with Wilder become all too real. He again dodged the potential of be another candidate for the surgeons knife

It's a blessing for Wilder that his ass whooping in the ring has been delayed, with Dillian Whyte and AJ currently out of title shot contention for the WBC.

However, both will be reinstated very shortly, where Wilder can continue to run scared from facing either man for however much money in the ring.

Wilder can come to Brixton, and try to act like he ain't scared. But he wouldn't take 12 million dollars, and get in the ring with Whyte.

Or 50+ million to fight AJ.

In 20 years when future boxing fans go through Wilder's resume, they will barely make it past number #27 before thinking... who the hell is this guy...??? And that's all history remembers.

So yes, resume is VERY important.... you will be forgotten just like Wilder in the sands of time.

Wilder, like you Stephanie are birds of a feather.... neither has any credibility, or ability.

So he isn’t in fury or wilders league yet he’s beaten better opposition than what Fury and Wilder have? If you believe he’s not in their league ability-wise then how can you not give him credit for having a better resume
