Canelo is as formidable as it gets in the division. Why shouldn't he chase him?

Because boxing is much bigger than Canelo. You don't see Canelo obsessing over Mayweather, yes he's asked for the rematch, but he didn't put a halt to growing his legacy for Mayweather like GGG uses Canelo as an excuse for fighting the caliber of opposition he does.

Canelo is the best calibre of opposition. Canelo is the champion.
Canelo is the only man to beat him.

There's no one else Golovkin should be fighting.

Golovkin is 37 yet he is still fighting dangerous contenders, even though they don't bring huge money to the table like Derevyanchenko. And some moronic haters here call him a diva.

Yes there is, for one, before he lost his title he needed to fight his mandatory. Two, Canelo stated that he would not fight GGG unless he picked up a belt for, so there is that.

Glad GGG moved on and is not doing the right thing.

    Canelo trumps and mandatory fight.

See I'm the opposite of you. Like you say he's not doing the right thing but unlike you I am no glad about it.

Canelo is the only fight worth pursuing in that division.

If you don't wanna fight the best what's the point in fighting at all.

Yeah, you're right. GGG was more aggressive, exhibited better ring generalship, defense and clean, effective punches. And you're right, the challenger shouldn't get a scoring handicap, as he obviously did.
