The thing to take from this is that you're fully relying on punchstats for your arguments, you should learn to score a fight instead, amount of punches landed is not factored in the scoring. And GGG landed an average of 2.5 jabs more per round.

He's clearly cherry-picking his comp. If he was really the fighter he touts himself as he would be fighting David Benevidez but instead he goes for no names in that division. He is doing his best to appear to fight tougher comp but anyone who knows boxing knows exactly what he is doing and it doesn't impress them. He's a hype job. That's not to say he is not a formidable fighter, he is, but he is not the best even in his division. This will be proven over time. On the other hand, GGG, the proven warrior, fighting guys nearly a decade younger than he is at 37, is the real deal and knowledgable boxing fans know this. You have your kids who come on here and troll a bit but most know what is up.

 

I guess I rate Canelo much higher than you.

IMO canelo is the best MW in the world and anyone in that division should be chasing a fight with him.

Canelo already said GGG needed a belt, why would he still fight Roles? And why would he fight a retired 154 fighter instead of SD?

Roles and ducking SD when he was undefeated has s**** to do with Canelo.

 

I actually rate Canelo very highly. When he first moved to MW I thought he'd get blown away not having his usual size advantage, but he proved me wrong. He's a very quick, defensively fantastic, hard hitting MW that strings beautiful combinations together. He also lost to Golovkin twice.

The reason I rate Canelo higher then you is because I think he's the pinnacle of the division and every MW should be chasing him.

So I think due the lofty status of Canelo GGG should be chasing him.

You think it's better for GGG to pursue a fight with SD.

IMO (and you don't have to agree) Canelo > SD.
