He's going to drain Old Kovalev to a husk. Big deal.

You know what's annoying, when the top fighters are taking easy fights because they are chasing the cash cow. FOr the last 2-4 years the MW division has had Golovkin, Jacobs, Andrade, Charlo, Saunders, Derevyanchenko and Canelo in it.

As a fan I want to see all these guys mix it up.

Ah, more of your false narratives. GGGoonland must be a great place.

And its not even about the power of the punches but the effectiveness of them. I find it odd that many people who lauded someone like Winky Wright for controlling fights with jabs, ignore when someone who is known as a power punching knockout artist, controls a fight with the jab. It seems as if people think a guy has to fight only one way and be punished for doing something else.

I want to see them all chasing Canelo.

Canelo is more then a cash cow. He's the divisional king.

Thats the second fight. I was previously talking about the first fight , but i looked at it and it says Canelo out landed Golovkin in 9 of the 12 rounds while also outlanding him 143 to 116 on the final punch stat.

its quite sad how you totally ignore the power punch count as if it doesn't exist or bare any significance. A power punch the is the best scoring punch you can land , and Canelo dominated in that area, hence why he got the win.
Continue to feed your own delusions by ignoring this fact if it makes you feel better. In the meantime im here existing in the real world.

Well, then I guess you have lots of patience, I don't, I expect the top fighters to fight the best. That's one of the main reasons I stop being a Golovkin fan, I got bored of him fighting no hopers.

Bro, that guy thinks Golovkin is an ATG fighter, you can't reason with him.

He thinks having a record of 1-1-1 against the only top fighters is enough to be considered an ATG.

This post is all kinds of hilarious. When you write this crap do you think anyone actually believes you?

Sorry, pal, that is the first fight. You don't know how to read stats, do you? You look at these numbers and you conclude Canelo outlanded GGG in 9 out of 12 rounds. Well, there you go. You have no idea what you are talking about.

I always want the best to fight the best. Right now the top two are Golovkin and Canelo. The next best is Jacobs and boh beat him.

The next two guys after that are SD and Andrade so if Golovkin can't secure the Canelo fight SD is the next best, but I still prefer the Canelo fight.

Alvarez should really fight Andrade next or Charlo given that GGG is fighting SD and he's already beaten Jacobs.

True true boxing fans feel the same way I do. We expect the top fighters to earn their shot at the top, by fighting the best available competition.

I watch boxing to watch the best fight the best, not to see top fighters wait around hoping they get a shot at the cash cow.

Golovkin should have fought SD last September and not have allowed Jacobs to clean his trash.

I would much rather see Golovkin acknowledge Jacobs and give him the rematch for two reasons, 1. Jacobs already beat SD, and 2. Jacobs and GGG have somewhat unfinished business.

But due to politics SD is getting another shot at the IBF title, so I don't blame GGG for taking what appears to be the easier opponent for a title, which Canelo said he needed for a third fight.

I'm fine with Canelo fighting a LHW next, especially the LHW champion Kovalev should he beat Yarde.

Andrade, Charlo, and Jacobs need to fight each other.

GGG has already beaten Jacobs there's no reason to face him again. SD is the best fight if Canelo doesn't face him.

If Canelo faces Kovalev, that's a great fight. The winner of Gvodyk vs Beterbiev is the best in the division, but it is a good fight none the less.

If its another Rocky Fielding type fight that isn't as good.

I'm not at all happy with GGG right now. But it's the 2nd best option.

I hope Canelo makes a good fight, as you say you want the best to fight each other.
