What did it open as? I saw Kovalev at -175 earlier.

Obviously, that could be true but I also think his team is smart enough to not let the opportunity to make a massive payday against Alvarez slip by. It would be unbelievable if Kovalev was dumb enough to **** up that opportunity by not taking this fight serious.

Man, you’re still posting here? How long you been on here now? I’ve been on this site since I was 16.

At these odds it's better to bet on Kovalev (just to win, without specifying how), because they are already implying that Yarde is fighting "old drunk Kovalev".
So, all the negatives from the Kovalev's side are already in the odds, and, at the same time, a huge advance to Yarde is in the odds as well.

    I agree

After seeing how he won his last fight over 12, he could do it here as well

At under -200, I would take Kovalev outright and forget method of victory and just hope he wins

Yarde winning would be a massive upset, despite the odds being so close

I’ve seen everyone of yardes fights he’s very hittable especially to a straight over hand right his stamina is questionable also he’s never been in with a big puncher.

I’m putting my money on the ko.

A rule I learned over the years - if the odds are close, don't get greedy.

Do I think Kovalev by KO is the most likely outcome? Yes
Can I see Kovalev underperforming and it reaches the scorecards? Yes

This happened at the Kovalev vs Cleverly and Golovkin vs Brook fights too.
Time to make a killing due too nationalistic sentiments at betting.

I remember it started out about 1/3 in Kovalev's favor, creeping to even odds at fight night.

With the Canelo fight on offer next and Yarde being able to dig, I suspect Kov will just box Yardes head off for 12 round and keep it safe.

That was for Kovalev vs Cleverly (simular to this fight), Golovkin vs Brook opened about 1/6 and closed up to around 1/3 at certain bookies.
