Collazo and Lopez almost KTFO Thurman. Pacquiao is on another level than those two. Thurman is overrated.
People are too quick to wheel out brain damage whenever they see a fighter with a thick accent or unusual behaviour. Pacquiao doesn't consider Spence a possible opponent and for good reasons, Thurman had been out for three years, but Spence is a young lion at his physical peak. Plus, he looks like he's rehydrating after weigh ins and coming in as a light heavyweight. Manny doesn't have memory loss, he obviously takes his health and safety seriously.
Because Pacquiao is a Welter weight champ, and its very annoying when top fighters don't fight each other. If you're going to fight for a title, and you win, you must fight the other top fighters.
Pac just beat a legit top WW fighter (who was the most proven fighter and has the best resume) at the age of 40 and has already done waaaaay more than enough in his career to the point where he can either retire or fight anyone whoever he pleases. Even though I would be interested in seeing a Spence or Crawford fight Pac has already paid his dues and has earned the right to fight whoever he wants as champion.
