I feel Bowe was the lesser of these three, but could AJ really beat these two tough fighters?

No. Not a chance. Look at the quality of the opposition both fighters fought.

What do you think Mark? Whats your opinion?

Can we make a @mark ant "superthread" for all these annoying theoretical questions?

Is it really necessary to ask these sort of questions several times a day?

I just don't understand why he does it so often. They're almost always silly theoretical questions where it's opinion vs opinion.

"Who would have more power, Amir Khan at 22 years old or Mike Tyson at 80?"

Just ridiculous. Spams the forum and adds nothing to debate or discussion.

if Joshua has problems against Ruiz he would get killed against those two. History is definitely being kind to the last generation of heavyweights as this embarrassing generation unfolds. A few years ago people were saying these giants would murder all past heavyweights, I’m glad that theory is pretty much put to bed.

Bowe the lesser of the 3? He did beat Holyfield twice.

Bowe in his prime was a monster of a fighter

Bow and Holy were two of the best H2H fighters ever at their peak .... so no would be my answer.

Every night Joshua dreams he fought in the era of completely unchecked roiding. He imagines his Instagram posts and flexing reaching an entirely different level. He cries out in his sleep to the voodoo idol he bought from a Nigerian market, not haggling them down to demonstrate his benevolence: 'Why was I was born in the wrong time, Femitutu! Why was I cruelly denied the life of Evan Fields! Even Chambers could have been mighty back then, and not disgraced us!'

Imagine similar questions were asked of Lennox when he lost to Rahman?

Yo Lennox is faded, exposed, he would lose now even to a washed up tyson

Vitali Klitckho??? Lennox would get battered.

Well I don't believe so .... BUT Holyfield was smaller and always did struggle against bigger men like Bowe, Foreman and Lewis so it is conceivable that he would struggle against AJ.

I think Holy would be in AJs face too much for comfort and would break him down similar to what Ruiz did...

but that could also work against him, Holyfield wasnt exactly hard to hit, and AJ has proven one punch KO power at the 'elite' level against people like Wlad and Povetkin, both of whom get regular star-boy treatment on this forum

As for Bowe, man that would be a fan friendly fight. Bowe had superior boxing skills for sure, but he also got very sloppy the longer and tougher a fight went on. I could easily see him trading knockdowns in a wild fight against AJ...
Another factor would be that both AJ and Bowe displayed stamina issues in big time fights, although Bowe in my opinion displayed more heart and more courage when the going got tough, and for me i think that might be the deciding factor against AJ

    Excellent thread btw

I don`t either guy`s opposition was that good, Holy beat a faded Tyson and a china chinned Moorer who was decent he beat Mercer who was easy to hit, he beat Qawi at cruiser, but Qawi was a little faster when he fought Spinks at 175, the best fighter Holy fought was Bowe and he beat him when he was out of shape, Bowe didn`t beat anyone that good apart from Evander who was wide open in their first fight, I pick AJ v both, Holy did eventually develop good defensive skills that would make it very hard for AJ to knock him out.
