How can one assume a fighter trains hard if they cannot or will not at least stick to some sort of training diet. The shape Ruiz is in, being the HW champ of the world is quite frankly embarrassing to the sport.

That sort of physique also shows a lack of discipline, a key component or quality any fighter needs to stick to a dedicated training program

If Ruiz trains hard, what in the world does he eat? He certainly would not be eating a diet fit for an athlete, and athlete who ins theory, is at the top of his sport.

Must be a diet heavy on junk food and/or alcohol. Its near impossible to be as fat and out of shape as he is without eating 6000-7000 calories a day while maintaining the active lifestyle of a boxer.

Possibly a binge eater who does his share of 10k calorie days feasting on multiple pizzas or half a dozen trays of nachos, washing them down with a gallon of Dos Equis.

Just biased drivel from Toxic posters who don't like it when PBC fighters are not in control of things.

    It's just pathetic.

When WBC, Haymon etc dictacte who is fighting who, and where... but if Hearn does it... it's blasphemy.

Ruiz should look at Yarde and feel ashamed of himself.

He'll be safer in Arabia than Yarde is in Chelyabinsk. Yarde was told not to leave the hotel without an escort and has to drink out of date bottles of water.

I thought Ruiz was a brave warrior type but he's acting like a sissy by not wanting to travel outside of the States.

Ruiz is the champ. He fights where he wants.

We all know Al is not risking any titles against a non-Haymon fighter. That's the bottom line. He will find a million tricks of the trade for this to be the case. Either they will fight on Al's terms i.e. AJ cannot win, or AJ will have to switch camps and dump Eddie.

The writing is written on the wall. AJ is f*cked.

The goalposts have been spectacularly moved. It was “gangster Al says it’s in America or Mexico, they call the shots” and now it’s “all they wanted was more money”.

Funny that they’re calling the shots but AJ is still getting more money, they must really like him.

You don't know anything. He's still under a contract by matchroom which means he can't do anything he wants until he wins the rematch.

You dodged my questions the same way AJ dodged that 50 million offer.

The only goalposts that have been moved is by Eddie Hearn and his property.

    • First Joshua insisted he wanted the rematch to happen in the US.
    • Last week he then comes out and says the fight will happen in Cardiff because he owes it to his fanboys
    • Then they change it to Saudi Arabia and offer paltry sum to Ruiz Jr
    • Eddie Hearn states that Ruiz has signed and must honor it or he's going to sue.
    • Then they send a new financial package with their tails between their legs
You think they've played a blinder because AJ's getting his cash out fight money?

Considering that the fight is not in Cardiff and Team Ruiz brokered additional millions into the contract, I would say it represents compromise. Compromised like Joshua and Fury’s consciousness during their last title fights against Americans.

None of us know anything because none of us know what's in the contract.

I do know that we both hate slave contracts though, I remember us complaining when K2 used to enforce them on their voluntary defences. We hated that **** then and we hate that **** now.

Ruiz is the champ, Ruiz has the belts, Ruiz has that A Side label now that he's knocked AJ out.

I don’t think they’ve played a blinder, where did I say that? And point me to where I said on this thread it would be in the UK? I said nobody has seen the contract and nobody knows anything yet while you were declaring “it’s in Mexico or America” and you were wrong. I also said people are overreacting on the influence Haymon has on this, which was also correct.
