So the scenario where Andy Ruiz refuses to take the rematch and dumps the belts to damage Hearn. Looks like it is playing out.

Where are all the Hearn sausage munchers now? But he has "contract" and he has to fight. No he doesnt.

Andy Ruiz can just refuse the contract on offer, and scatter the belts. Causing serious damage to Hearn and AJ as a result. It was an obvious move by Al Hayman to be fair and he played it.

I thought anyone was in agreement that it would damage Hearn/Joshua if it came to that, but the one taking the most damage would be Ruiz himself. No way you can just break a contract like you never signed it, cause financial damage to the other side and walk away like nothing happened. If that were possible then why have contracts at all? Just worthless pieces of paper.

But it doesn't matter anymore, because it looks like Ruiz agreed to the terms of the rematch. The Arab Cashgrab is on.

If Ruiz does go through with it, what are the odds that he turns up out of shape and gets blasted out of there in under 5 rounds?

I guess like 60% for him to turn up out of shape, but even then I think Joshua would fight carefully not to repeat the scenario of the first fight. I think he has to turn up in James Douglas kinda shape (relatively spoken of course, but mentioning it due to Fury's comparison) for Joshi to throw caution in the wind and just try to blast him out.

I thought the latest news was that Ruiz's side actually have signed contracts now. Saudi Arabia rematch is happening (for now).

Well isnt that wonderful? Haymon has a plan to scatter the belts? Does Andy Ruiz maybe not want to keep them seeing as he is a Boxer with some pride and ambition? Or is Andy Ruiz Jr just another tool for Haymon to use and throw away at his call so he can make his business decisions and try to screw over Hearn and Joshua? Personally, as a Boxing fan, this is not something i would ever choose to even try brag about cuz some skinny rich business man is screwing over 2, thats TWO pro Boxers to get his own way.

Is this how we want our Boxing to run? If you defend this and want to gloat about this can you even call yourself a Boxing fan anymore? Yes im a Joshua fan but im a Boxing fan more. I saw the 1st fight, you telling me Ruiz doesnt fancy his chances in the rematch after the way he handled him in the 1st? Just what the hell is going on here?

haha So Ruiz and Haymon try to play hard ball, Hearn brings in the big time lawyers and shortly after an agreement is reached
and Ruiz is onboard for the fight after spouting that he calls the shots and the fight will be in the US. Hmmmm.

The bodybuilder Joshua will get beaten down severely in the rematch now for angering Haymon, and his ferocious pet blob Ruiz.

I guess the contract was more watertight than Fatty and Quincy Jones thought.

All that gesturing ultimately proved pointless.
