    Whatever the outcome, there's not much name recognition in Yarde and he isn't on the slide, so pretty unlikely.

    That said, I would be very surprised if Yarde pulled the upset here.

    Canelo is willing to fight Kovalev but I doubt he would fight Yarde. That is telling I think.

    It's more about the belt for Canelo as I understand it. He wants to become LHW champion...and the obvious way to go is to fight Kovalev who's been on the slide.

    If Yarde looks like **** but still somehow manages to bear Kovalev, then Canelo could still fight him for that belt.

    He definitely not fighting any other LHW champs....although does Pascal have a belt now too? Maybe him.
