Well, yeah. They are not punchers like say Kovalev. But they can clearly still crack. Otherwise world class guys would be walking through them.

Your status as a delusional denier is cemented, then. Any who thinks Alvarez and Ward are punchers either doesn't know **** about boxing or is just a blind Kovalev fanboy trying to protect their hero.

Define "puncher". Because we are clearly disagreeing on some terminology here.
To my understanding, a "puncher" is someone with overwhelming/above average world class punching power.
That said, while Alvarez and Ward clearly aren't punchers(in that sense), they can still punch and hurt opponents. It's not like either of them has pillows for hands.
Heck, even Paulie Malignaggi could actually hurt guys. His problem were his hands, which forced him to rely on speed and arm punching, which significantly reduced the amount of force he could use. But he still had the ability to generate that force.

You yourself admitted that Alvarez and Ward "are not punchers like say Kovalev." In fact, that's an understatement. They, particularly Ward, are acknowledged light-hitters, maybe not totally featherfisted like Malignaggi - but not in any way heavy hitters. And yet, Kovalev tasted canvas and was halted. And he's hit the deck on other occasions. That's a questionable chin, period end of paragraph.

I wasn't talking about Kovalev(who has an average chin, relatively speaking).

Yarde is either going to be the #1 in the division or a Meme.

The only moron is you. Glass Jaws exist in Boxing and we are going to discuss this on here. Nothing you say will change that. As far as any fighter can be KOed what a load of ****. Several Iron Chinned warriors not only were never KOed with resumes littered with savage punchers they were never even knocked down in their careers. So no, anyone can’t be KOed.

Going to go ahead and call it that Yarde has no Chin. None. He gets brutally and embarrassingly KOed and you will just make up tons of excuses and act like it was everything but his Glass Jaw that caused it.

Whenever I see @Zakman post, I get transported back to 2012 ESB when these chin checkers ruined the place....

I’ve never, ever Said glass jaws didn’t exist you ******.

Any fighter get KOd given the right circumctances, that doesn’t mean they all have. A lot of fighters with good chins have been KOd. I’ve provided the examples in the previous page, but since you’re too idiotic to comprehend with what you read, I’ll give you another one: Ray Mercer had one of the best chins among 90s HWs, he’s been KOd. Margarito had one of the best chins of 2000s, he got KOd. You chincheckers are just too idiotic, have too little understanding of the game and know too little about It’s history to comprehend with the fact that there are a lot variables that effect the outcome of a fight other than just chin.

I don’t know what kind of chin Yarde has, but I know for a fact that It doesn’t take a glass jawed a fighter to get KOd by Kovalev.

But they've both had stoppages, and taking your 'logic' about chins and applying it to power, one KO or TKO means a fighter is a puncher, just like one KO loss equates to a glass jaw, apparently.

It's fine, you think Ward was a huge puncher. Not many would agree but you're entitled to your opinion...

Yeah. Imagine the reaction you'd get if you made a thread saying "Kovalev might beat Yarde" and made another one right after saying the opposite, "Yarde might beat Kovalev too" lol, you'd probably get laughed off the forum. But people are so used to zakman's stupidity, It barely catches any attention.

Don't understand his logic at all.Does he think everyone is supposed to fight their career without getting hit or not feel the effects of being punched in the head?
I also think it's very disrespectful, given how the sport has lost lives in the ring.
