Back to can crushing? domestic fights with Bologna man, Johnson, Buatsi or Burton? Honestly he probably loses to Johnson and Buatsi. Smart route with be a can, Bologna and then a big domestic clash with Johnson or Buatsi. Then retire. He's found his ceiling.

Only to get better and keep learning. He did well in this fight, had he not went balls to the wall in that 8th he might have went the distance. I think hed match up well with any of the other champs in the division and in boxing with that type of power, you never know. You'd be a fool to write him off this early.

Yarde would do far better v the other champs at 175 than he did v Kovalev, I feel he can take their power.

Hopefully gets a shot against Hart and KO's him. Then goes back to the UK for a domestic level scrap against The Chilling One Callum Johnson, and is violently KO'd once again.

Pretty sure a few cans to regain confidence will be on the menu next.

    Longer-term it's hard to say.

He's more talented than most of us thought, he gave it a good go and nearly won it. So, if he can learn from this fight, improve, he can still have a good future I think.

The big obstacle is that he might have to wait a while to find a weak champion to challenge again, LHW is stacked at present and Gvozdyk, Bivol outbox him thoroughly and stop him midway, while Beterbiev probably sparks him in a war.

On the other hand Yarde looks to me like a confidence fighter, one that will never reach the same heights again after this loss. What we saw could have been a tremendous display of determination and belief which cannot be repeated without that same cast-iron belief in his own invincibility, which is what Yarde had.

They won't do that but that's a good call. The other British fighters don't want to fight him because he looked past them. He needs to wait a while before he challenges for a title again. As well as he did, I don't think he would fare any better with Bivol, Beterbiev or Gvozdyk and I rate Kovalev highly still even before today.

I don't think he's a hype job. In my view he loses to the best LHWs, but even Gvozdyk said he would be a tough fight for anyone at LHW

Burton is okay for him, think he pulls that one off. He needs to stay far, far away from Johnson and especially Buatsi though. Those two have the experience just like Kovalev but they aren't completely shot like Kovalev is.

Buatsi is the future of the division and Yarde doesn't stand a cat in hell's chance against him.

    Gvozdyk stops him
    Bivol UD’s him
    Beterbiev stops him
Kovalev is oldest and weakest and was still able to stop him.
