Great fight really in my opinion it's very underrated . I think when you put two fighters that have a long amature background such as golovkin and derevyanchenko in the ring. I think they end up going back to their amature style ways Derevyanchenko has improved alot since his loss to brian castano hes come a long way and has improved a hell of alot as I saw in the Jacobs fight I expect a tactical match between golovkin and derevyanchenko This fight is great because derevyanchenko is a solid contender hes fought styles similar to golovkins most of his life in the amatures and golovkin vice versa Obviously I favor golovkin having the advantage in every department Except speed and footwork I give derevyanchenko the advantage in speed and footwork I expect both fighters to revert back to their amature fighting style when thrown in the ring For those of you that loved amature boxing the skill , You are about to get two boxers who are highly decorated in that area Its gonna be entertaining I do favor golovkin But it's fun to see golovkin fighting different styles and seeing how he adjustes. Golovkin might try to box derevyanchenko the way ggg did against canelo and lemieux However derevyanchenko is more trained and accustomed to that style he will do better getting past golovkin jab , getting on the inside than Canelo and Lemieux did
The fight may be a fun one but if GGG is even a patch of his usual self he should control SD with jab and distance and break him down late.
That's what I'm counting on Derevyanchenko is lighter on his fight and find ways to get inside past the jab better than canelo

I highly doubt Golovkin will try to bully Derevyanchenko. He will box, most probably. Especially with his new trainer. I see a UD or a late stoppage win for Golovkin.
